I just wanted to say hello and thank you for reading this book! Or at least considering so. I will be your author and host of the adventure, Rayven. What inspired this book? Well, let me tell ya! I was in college in 2011 but life decided that it wasn't my path and threw my ass into motherhood instead. Left at a loss for what to do with my time, I decided to start this book series. I knew what was in most fantasy books: fantastical creatures and places, protagonist wins via antagonist revealing plans in some way, damsel in distress, adventure, conclusion, blah boring blah.

She smiled salaciously at Jayce, hands on her slim hips and large brown eyes luminous in her sharp face. "Have you come for a mount, Prince, or just to pay me a long overdue visit." Her eyes slid past him to his companions and her grin narrowed mischievously. "I have to admit to never participating in an orgy with Halflings, are they as insatiable as the rumors say they are?" He could feel the glare aimed at his back. Of course the stable master would have been one of the few women to ever grace his bed. He sighed internally, refraining from rolling his eyes skyward. "A carriage, actually."

Not that it would be The Moor, but if I physically attacked him, I was dead. "I've heard she's quite young." It was me who laughed. "I don't give a shit about her age. She's a cat." "The universe, Allah, Goddess, or God, whichever you accept, has a great sense of humor my friend. Our destiny will never be simple and we're meant to fight it. At least to a point. She wondered if she was better off starving to death in that strange forest instead of spending the next couple of weeks in the company of this foul-mouthed villain. Nikjin chuckled when he noticed how he had managed to get her worked up emotionally just by teasing her. “Do not worry, my darling Luna. You will eventually become used to my kind of humor. You just wait and see,” he said confidently. “Point of correction, Nikjin, I am not your Luna and I will never be,” she said angrily.
