He looked down and then back at her praying she knew how to start a fire. In there world each dragon fell under five categories. Fire dragons , mostly consisting of the color pink, red and orange, could breath fire. Earth dragons consisting of yellow, purple and brown, Where none fire breathers but could make the ground move however they needed it. Water dragons, mostly green and blue, they could breath water and also had healing properties. Air dragons, they consisted of grey and black they could blow strong wind currents with either there wings or breath. The last one was the most rarest of them all and that was the spirit dragon. They normally where pure white with silver tints. At night

An elder men chanted a spell and held the red dragon down with a water binding magic. Eric chuckled and said, "Good. Very good. Let's have you taste my purple dragon." He summoned out his purple dragon. Out of the sky came a large and dark creature. It's eyes was yellow as the sun and it's scale was black with the tips being purple. It was a humongous beast. "ROOOOAAAR," cried the Purple Dragon. "Oh, Eric have summoned his Dark Crystal Dragon," said Theo. "Damn, what's going on? Why is he using his third dragon?"

Francine said jokingly. “Well.” Sylvia began. “What? An actual dragon lives also?” Francine asked, shocked. “A spirit of an actual dragon resides in Blake. That was how we found out about Feng Ling the Ice Phoenix.” Sylvia began to explain the occurrences and conditions Blake was in.

Silence consumed the clearing. No one moved. No one breathed. Beyond the fracture, enormous shadows drifted through the pale violet light. They were unmistakable now dragons. But wrong. Their shapes were twisted, their wings unnaturally long, their scales glimmering like shards of obsidian. Their eyes burned with the same pale violet glow as the creatures from the forest. The Dragon Kings. Dead dragons that should have remained legends. Elara felt cold. “That’s impossible,” Kael whispered.

Looking uncertain. The ice dragon sensed its master’s distress. It turned from Cassandra and focused on the center of camp. On the Revenant. On the fighters questioning their purpose. It breathed. Ice spread in all directions. No discrimination. Revenant fighters froze alongside Alina’s wolves. Screams cut off mid-sound as bodies turned to frozen statues. “No!” the Revenant shouted. “Stop! Obey me!” But the dragon didn’t stop. It kept breathing, kept freezing, until half the camp was covered in ice and death.

Wanda gasped looking above. "Let's just wait for them. It's going to take some time." Lam said as he walked towards the group before freezing. "Oh my." Lam gasped seeing Cass and Nix before he schooled himself and greeted the guardians with a bow. They turned to their side when they heard a growl and Lam now cursed out loud. "What the fuck!" "What's wrong my King?" Riley asked in worry. "That is the heavenly ice dragon. The first dragon to ever exist. And is he an ice elemental?" Lam asked pointing at Blaze and Timothy who seemed busy in a fight with some hidden entity with immense power.

The snowflake he stood on flashed once again, but this time, blasting out a blue beam above, devouring him with intense light energies. Arth’s eyes widened, seeing the light beam compressing and forming into a dragon’s head and neck, all made of blue energy. It screeched into the skies. Its neck was so long and still connected to the glowing snowflake on the floor, curving to move its enormous head beside the general. As Edric waved his sword, the dragon followed its movement. He made a wide swing upwards, causing the dragon to lunge towards the skies.

She let out a laugh. “Ice dragons were a stunning race. Unfortunately, they were already nearing extinct before the war. They were more of the aggressive type of races in the dragon world. But they were also the first to get attacked and slaughtered. He only survived because he was in the kingdom when the war started.” She explained. I looked up at her, not sure what to say. She gave me a sad smile.

Hello, everyone! This is XSkylar19. It has been a very interesting ride for me while writing Bane of the Dragons because (fun fact) this was my very first dragon genre. I know some of you probably disliked how everything turned out or how fastpaced everything happened but know that this was intentional as I couldn't drag the story on. Anyway, while this book becomes the first book for dragon genre, it certainly wasn't my first book in the fantasy genre.

All the creature's enormous nest was full of snow and ice, even if immediately behind it, where Elizabeth sat, it warm and nice, and the snow was completely missing. The creature herself was made of ice. The scales that covered her body were of ice, her eyes were dark blue, and at the end of her tail she had a multitude of spines ... probably all made of ice. A kind of thicker and definitely very strong icicles. Her breath let out of her nostrils snowflakes and ice as well as a blustery wind whirling the snow chaotically. The little girl managed to read on a flying tag that the creature was an ice dragon.
