There is a third realm in fairy called the dark realm, which is dominated by Black dragons. Isabella is a human girl, who was kidnapped to replace her look alike Arabella.

“It is freezing! How can you even stand to hold it? And should it be that cold? Is that normal?” I glance down at the egg and say, “I believe so. Ice dragons are, as the name suggests, freezing.” I pause and sigh before adding, “though, honestly? I do not know. We men do not egg-sit, so to speak. And I certainly have never raised an ice dragon, let alone one of their eggs, so your guess is as good as mine. I hope that my mother will know what to do.”

All the creature's enormous nest was full of snow and ice, even if immediately behind it, where Elizabeth sat, it warm and nice, and the snow was completely missing. The creature herself was made of ice. The scales that covered her body were of ice, her eyes were dark blue, and at the end of her tail she had a multitude of spines ... probably all made of ice. A kind of thicker and definitely very strong icicles. Her breath let out of her nostrils snowflakes and ice as well as a blustery wind whirling the snow chaotically. The little girl managed to read on a flying tag that the creature was an ice dragon.

Do you know what a familiar is?” The two older girls nodded. “Well, I have a familiar,” Seraphina pulled the sleeve of her dress down to show them her marking. “Can you guess what it is?” “A Flutterby,” one of the toddlers shouted as she threw her hands up in the air. “A very good guess,” Seraphina lightly tapped her on the nose. “But not quite-“ “-A dragon!” one of the older girls gasped as she stared at the markings. “Yes, very good. So, I am going to shift into my dragon and you are going to fly home on my back with the others. Now my dragon is very big but, she’s very kind and gentle so, you don’t need to be scared, okay?”

Ice spread in all directions. No discrimination. Revenant fighters froze alongside Alina’s wolves. Screams cut off mid-sound as bodies turned to frozen statues. “No!” the Revenant shouted. “Stop! Obey me!” But the dragon didn’t stop. It kept breathing, kept freezing, until half the camp was covered in ice and death.

I have a dragon? A white dragon with pearly white scales. She looked like a creature carved from moonlight and frost. Her body gleams as though each scale were polished porcelain or mother-of-pearl, catching the light and scattering it in soft, shimmering hues. When she moved, the scales rippled like flowing silk, giving the impression that the she carried a piece of the moon on her skin. Her eyes are a piercing, crystalline blue - bright and cold as glacial ice - yet filled with an ancient intelligence that feels both mesmerizing and unnerving. The contrast of its pale, luminous body and those sharp, blue eyes makes it appear regal and otherworldly, as though it was born from winter storms

She nods her head at me and we both shift. Surprising I am much bigger than these dragons. Malayah has gotten bigger as well. She is bigger than the average wolf. “Every time they shift I am amazed,” says Derek. “They’re beautiful,” says Ivy. “It is an honor to finally meet you young one. I am Katla, the elder fire dragon. This here is Lumi, the elder ice dragon. Chandra, the elder water dragon. Anil, the elder wind dragon and Terran, the elder earth dragon. I could not imagine having to live where it snows all year round. They were ice dragons anyway so it was a given.
