She extended her arm, gesturing proudly at the library around us. The room was enormous, lined with towering bookshelves reaching up to a ceiling adorned with faded celestial murals. The scent of aged parchment and candle wax filled the air. Books were stacked in languages I didn’t recognize, titles I had never seen before. Strange artifacts sat in glass cases, emitting an aura of dormant power.

What is this place? I took a deep breath and walked inside. It was a secret library. Huge, dusty, and filled with shelves that reached the ceiling. Thousands of old books, scrolls, and leather-bound journals were arranged neatly. This place was untouched for years. "Wow..." I whispered, running my fingers along the dusty shelves. I walked deeper into the room. There were books about history, war strategies, weapons, and ancient languages. But then, I found a section at the very back. Books with glowing titles. Books about magic, energy manipulation, and bloodline secrets.

Faith felt like she was falling through a sea of glass. The balcony, the night air, and the smell of jasmine were gone. She was in a place where there was no floor and no ceiling. Jasmine’s POV Everything in this library is magical. Even as the sun dips below the horizon, casting an amber glow over the vast library within Ramon's mansion, it gives off a magical vibe. I'm sitting at a large, antique desk, surrounded by stacks of ancient books, each one older than the last. My hand grips a faded parchment as I trace symbols and forgotten texts, my brows furrowed in concentration. The room is quiet except for the soft scratch of my quill on paper and the faint flicker of candlelight.

So she headed back upstairs and I went to the back row and I started looking through all the books that she pointed me too and there were several different books that I knew I needed to get into. I started looking through the books and the faerie's and there were some really disturbing drawings in there of faerie's and creatures from centuries ago. I wouldn't be able to get through all of these books in the library so I grabbed everything that they had and I left the library and took them back to the packhouse. “Fantasy?” Came the uncertain inquiry through the bullhorn that sounded out loudly amongst the hustle and bustle of the crowded pier. Raising my hand I picked up my duffel bag and began making my way forward. As I walked the men about me stared. They always stared. It was kind of nice and yet annoying at the same time. It didn’t help that my Russian born mother so enamored with her relocation to a new and in her eyes, ‘fantasy land’ of America had named me as such.

I think I saw someone familiar to me and I just can't figure it out who. The lady walked farther to my direction. I swear, she's very familiar to me. I brushed off the thought and just made my way to the library. When I reached the library, I picked the table afar from the students. I sat down and plugged in my earphones, then started playing some instrumental songs. I took out the new book that my mother bought me. It was entitled: Cast a Spell on Me; it was a fiction-fantasy book. I was indulged reading the story when someone poked my shoulder. I looked up to see Lucas, waving his hands at me.
