Gabrielle asked, pointing to the bathroom door. Be patient. Elea turned around then nodded. "It's a magic door. You'll be right in the bathroom once you open it!" Gabrielle said making a joke. Magic door, gosh.... Since when did his mind venture into the fantasy world of doraemon. "Really? Wow, your house is really very special boss! Faint, but clear enough. I catch it before she even points. She leads me to the door anyway. It’s plain, nothing special. Closed. Locked. She lifts her hand and unlocks it with her magic, the mechanism clicking softly. The door opens. “Ta-da,” Felix says as he steps out, like he had anything to do with it.

June rolled her eyes and they started down the staircase, both on high alert. Once they reached the bottom of the stairs, they were met with a simple oval doorway that had a sturdy oak door. "This is where I would typically have to stop. But with your permission, I can follow you in. You must give the door a blood print, though." he pulled out a small knife and handed it to June. "I can do it for you if you like. But it needs your blood to make sure you can do magic." June sighed and took the knife, pricking the tip of her finger and smearing it on the door. They both watched as the oak soaked up the blood within seconds and slowly started opening.

Like it had been waiting for me all along. Inside, there was no throne.

I didn’t belong here, but yet I found myself smiling at the strange normalcy of this. Still--- My gaze drifted past them to the heavy doors at the end of the corridor. Black, tall, and etched with silver that looked like glowing runes. Just watching it had a shiver running down my spine, as if my body knew that whatever was beyond that door wasn’t meant for humans. Suddenly, the air was filled with magic, and just like that, the oppressing cold that had felt like frost in my lungs dissipated. I sucked in a breath, dizzy as air settled back in my lungs...
