Mate to the Lycan king

Mate to the Lycan king

I was almost thrown out of the magic moving door. At the moment my legs stepped on the soft beach, I really wished there was a tree beside me.This way you don't have to kneel on the ground and vomit.Continuously passing through the moving door will not only consume my physical strength, but also weaken my little magic energy left.In the process of passing through the moving door just now, I felt like my body was thrown into a huge wooden barrel, and then rolled back and forth. What can be hateful is that this man who used magic to move the door indiscriminately actually set it in the wrong place.

I knew what to do, had it drilled into me when Mom filled me in on what the campus was like, but it still bothered me being unfamiliar where I was about to go. Just as I drew a breath and turned left, headed for a plain wooden door looking more like the entry to a janitor's closet than a class for witches, a skinny guy with lank, dark hair raced around me and jerked the door open, slamming it shut behind him. Just like that. I glanced around, in case someone was watching, though I knew there was no way a normal would care what he did thanks to the magic protecting it. Nor could someone without power repeat it. The magic keeping the area safe deflected the eyes of those without power and prev

Iron Serpent Chronicles

Somehow her dress was able to wrap around my body a number of different times without pulling on the fabric that lay in loose folds around her. "Not a single sound, Kiema." I nodded. She laid her hand against the heavy wooden door. Lowering her head to it, she pressed her lips to its surface. Eww. "Only gods and goddesses are allowed here. The door is the gatekeeper. Our magic is tested by the wood." Uh huh. Still wasn't kissing a door. "Who has your magic in Iron Serpent?" "I have no idea." She cursed in a different language I didn't understand. "No matter. We'll still be able to find your magic without this person, but I would have liked to have known who was in possession of it." She adju

Moonlit Rivalry: Raya's Heart

"Open the door, quick!" I dashed towards the hidden doorway, hurling objects aside and throwing it open. As I retreated backward, Blake followed close at my heels, never taking his eyes off Hunter as he kept the creature restrained with his powerful magic. With a single wave of his hand, Blake closed the door and chanted a series of strange syllables, sealing it shut. Immediately afterwards, I heard furious cries coming from the other side of the barrier; Hunter had apparently thrown himself against the door in an attempt to get to us.

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

It was a trick he'd discovered in the arctic, a side effect of carrying something that existed partially outside normal reality. The final door was different. It wasn't electronic. It was old—iron-bound wood, covered in symbols that Jack recognized from his inherited memories. Wards. Bindings. The kind of magic that was designed to keep something in rather than keep something out. "Boss," Marcus Two said nervously. "That door feels... wrong." "I know." "Should we find another way?" "There isn't one." Jack placed his void hand against the wood, and the symbols flared with sudden, angry light. "Whatever they're keeping in there, they really don't want it getting out."

Witching: Her Trial, His Error

Witching: Her Trial, His Error

I couldn’t tell if it was in the passage in front of the door or higher up. I turned to Jade one last time, “Sounds like the others have arrived or they have unexpected company. Be ready.” I placed one of my hands on the door and brought my magic forth. I could tell my eyes were glowing but, I didn’t care at this point she has most likely seen my veins glowing more than once. I pushed the energy into the door causing little cracks to start crawling through it moving away from my hand. The cracks were glowing red. Once the door was covered it burst and disintegrated right before our eyes.

The door pulses with an enchantment, beckoning us to unlock its secrets. I step forward, my gaze fixed on the door. I raise my hand and trace my fingers along the intricate carvings. As I do, a surge of energy courses through my veins, connecting me to the ancient magic embedded within the door. The symbols beneath my fingertips began to glow, responding to my touch like a musical instrument being played with mastery.

the Mage seemed very certain. "Actually, we were together not until he snapped his fingers and disappeared. I tried snapping my fingers too but to no avail" she snapped her fingers and flashed her eyebrows. "He was playing you. He went out of there through a way. There is definitely a way out of there" the Mage insisted. "All the doors lead to the cliff!!" Sophie replied hastily. "In places like that, doors are not the only exit. It can be stairs, through the roof, a window, broken floorboards" he clarified.

The thought of him doing so sent a thrill through me, but I stepped away. "You had better not," I scolded, wrapping my arms around myself. "Don't think I haven't noticed how much this silver has affected you as we've traveled. I'm not a fool." Tor was just about to reply when the woman stopped a few feet in front of us. We watched as she lifted her hand and placed it on the smooth cliff of the rock wall and muttered something under her breath. We watched in amazement as the rock shifted for a moment before slowly moving to the side to reveal a doorway.

He turned a few locks and knobs and then stepped back from the door. "When you step on it, think of your room. It will transport you with stardust. And because of the everlasting fire, it's not traceable by magic." My heart pounded in my chest as I took a step towards the door. "Ten minutes, kid, that's it. Any longer, and the spell will fade, and you will be stuck in there unable to leave until someone removes the ward around the place." I nodded. "Thank you," I said, smiling at him.

Mrs Magnolia
Don’t let the price of the chapters fool you, these are the longest chapters I’ve ever seen. The price is well worth the amount you’re receiving. One of the best books yet, not only does the author do a wonderful job telling the story but also keeps you intrigued the entire time.

Love how this story is written. I have read the entire series and I can say it is a whirlwind of emotions. Alpha Erik is the first of the five book series and it stole my heart from the start. Definitely worth the read! Big chapters too!
