What Nobody Sees

What Nobody Sees

—I asked, noticing he was just staring at me. —Now you understand why they couldn't grow up away from you. —Because you're a total disaster, with a passing interest, who couldn't live without me? —He laughed. —You couldn't have put it better. —This time I shrugged. —Do they have names? —I have two in mind —I gestured for him to continue—. Ragnar for the male... means lethal strength and primitive loyalty. You agree? —Very masculine, though quite fitting for their father's character —he just smiled. —And the other?

How To Tame You Demon Prince

How To Tame You Demon Prince

Ruby looked down at the ground and contemplated this for a few seconds. "What about Aleister? Dyrus Aleister Aspartheon. Dyrus means great or relentless and Aleister means fighter. Aspartheon is a derivative of Aspartheus, the dragon of war, glory, conquest, and wealth since that's what you are aiming for I assume. I provided you a name and a surname, which is your core ideal or what you seek to achieve." "Dyrus Aleister Aspartheon... Hmmm. It rolls off the tongue excellently. Rejoice, witch, you shall keep your head on your shoulder. I accept my new name." The newly baptized Aleister said grinning at her widely.

Fantasy's Eden

Fantasy's Eden

His voice made me jump, “What is your name woman?” My lips came unglued and I managed to choke out, “Fantasy, but please don’t call me that. I hate it.” “Okay, what do you go by then?” He queried with amusement tingeing his tone of voice. “Tasy.” I whispered out as I felt the heated wetness of a male’s erotically appointed appendage press into the lips of my opening from behind.

The Magical World of Maddie

The Magical World of Maddie

Everyone clapped and walked past her again, to introduce themselves with the Wiccan name they had once adopted at their initiation. ‘Blessed be, I'm Kerian,’ Liza kissed her on both cheeks, ‘my name means dark-haired.’ ‘Blessed be, my name is Gaea,’ Anke had tears in her eyes, ‘my name means earth.’ ‘Blessed be, Ohana is my name,’ Jente hugged her. ‘Sweetheart, my name means, from the forest.’ ‘Blessed be, they call me Ville,’ Raven gave her an encouraging wink and kissed her forehead. ‘And that means protector, yours, among other things.’ He leaned toward her, the look in his bright blue eyes warming her.

The Dark Protector

’ I ask him. ‘Do you have any family names that you want to give to our children?’ He asks me instead. ‘Not really. That’s not how elves work. Why? Is that how it is with dragons? Do you have a family name to pass down?’ I ask. ‘Not a family name, per se, but because I am descended from the earth dragons, I would like my children to have names that mean 'earth', or 'of the earth'.’

N.Savage
This is book number 2. It does not disappoint. There is no loss of momentum in this series. The characters continue to grow and evolve. Never a dull chapter. Cooper really did an excellent job setting up the series with places to go and more characters to introduce. Brilliant.

Overnight Magnate

Overnight Magnate

"Now, that's an uncommon surname. It sounds very medieval. Swords and sorcery and all that. Does it really have anything to do with dragons?" Ada chuckled and explained, "It means 'dragon's head.' Not literally, of course. It means, figuratively, 'the head of the warriors.' Something like that." "Damn." Logan scratched the back of his head. "And 'Ada'?" "It means 'noble' or 'nobility.' From the word 'Adel'." "I see! Ada Pendragon. It's a beautiful name, isn't it?" Logan smiled as he gave a compliment. "Thank you!" Ada replied. A little joy quietly crept into her chest. "Can you… help me pack up my things here?"

Beware of the Alpha

Beware of the Alpha

It was a name that had been passed down through generations of her family, each adding their own unique touch to it. Verity, meaning truth, was a reminder to always be honest and forthcoming. Carina, meaning beloved, was a testament to the love and affection her parents had for her. And Eirian, meaning bright and beautiful, was a reflection of the radiance that shone from within her. She wore her name like a badge of honor, a symbol of her identity and heritage. Her voice was barely above a whisper as she spoke to Alpha Nero. "I'm eighteen," she said, her eyes meeting his.

he murmured. Since I arrived here, I’d buried myself in old books and forgotten scrolls, trying to reconnect with my roots. I searched for names not just beautiful, but powerful names that carried the weight of meaning. Shaelith, drawn from ancient words for shadow and myth, a name cloaked in mystery and quiet strength. It felt otherworldly, like the child who had barely cried, yet seemed to hold the silence like a weapon. That was the name I gave to my firstborn, my shadowed child.
