The Monster's Nemesis

The Monster's Nemesis

I wanted him to see that I cannot be broken, that I cannot be ruined, despite his best efforts to degrade me as a human being and use me as a pawn to gain leverage over my family. I didn’t fight, cry, or scream. I endured not because I could, but because I had to survive. I had to live to see the day when the wheels would turn, and karma would find its course. They say Medusa was cursed to trade off her beauty for stone, her gorgeous locks for snakes, but the truth was: it wasn’t a curse but her power. The power of a wronged maiden who had fallen prey to the greed and lust of the cruel God. So, she chose to be worshipped as a goddess among monsters so no one could ever ravage her again.

Fate

Fate

She said "I’m sure there won’t be anything to tell." "There better be." She walked towards the door "Bye" With that, she exited the room. Rayan POV I sat on my couch working on something Abu told me to do earlier but didn’t do it because totally forgot about it. I was typing when Abu walked into the room. He just doesn’t seem to understand that people knock before they enter a room. "Abu, what’s wrong?" I asked once I noticed a change in his reaction "I met the doctor today, Sami is getting worse. He said if we don’t find a donor this week Sami won’t make it." He responded

Design of Fate

Design of Fate

Never had someone stand up for me like this before, but I was all for it with Imeela. “The one that fate chose for him. So, I suggest that you move along like he told you to because I won’t have you disrespecting my fated.” Holy shit. Did she seriously just claim us? ‘Yes, she sure as fuck did,’ Zeus growled. “You’re not even a shifter! I don’t know what you are, but you’re not one of us. You can’t be his mate. I don’t know what game you’re playing, but it’s not possible,” she said, voice raising with each statement.

I have enjoyed the supernatural diversity in this universe. I thoroughly enjoyed the author's take on Fae as seen through "Fated Soul - Fated Light". I loved learning about the Nabellos and sphinxes in "Fated Power - Fated Destiny". My favorite are the vampires in this book.

I love all of the books in the Fated universe. I am loving this sequel even more than I loved 'His Hunt For Redemption'. Jackson and Zeus are perfect for Imeela. I also love all of the twists and turns when it comes to dealing with the Precoza coven. I can't wait for Kalen's story next.

Choosing Fate

Choosing Fate

We are one and the same. I continue kicking and reaching to touch the moonlight, but it keeps slipping through my grasp. I watch as the bright moonlight becomes duller until finally it’s gone. It’s just me in the dark depths of the deep beyond. Sapphire the mermaid shall be the queen of the dark depths. A calming sense of acceptance and relief washes over me as the cold darkness swallows me. As quickly as I relinquished myself to my future in the darkness, I’m yanked out of it, a feeling of intense buzzing and vibrations breaking out on my chest and face. What the fuck?!

Fated

Fated

“It is a place where you will not get to be punished or hated by people, you get to have friends, smile, and laugh. Let me forget about your problems and everything that happened when you were alive. How do you get to cross that over to that place? I have always wished to go” “Do not say that child. You should thank the Moon Goddess for keeping your life, most things that that happen to you right now, you'll get to tell a story tomorrow, who knows you may become the Luna of your pack” I was trying to tell her that she could change Laurent if she wants to, she just has to make him see that Zara was dead and no matter how he beat himself up, he was never going to bring her back. Zara was a bea

Fate Bound: To Summon a God

Fate Bound: To Summon a God

My mind kept drifting back to the scroll hidden in the basement, to the runes I had drawn on the floor. I had found the scroll hidden among my grandmother's things after she died. It was ancient, written in a language that had taken me weeks to decipher. It spoke of the Fates—Abraxas, the Fate of Life; Kaius, the Fate of Death; and Ryuu, the Fate of Destiny. The Fates ruled the universe, deciding the course of every life, every death, every destiny. The scroll claimed that one could summon a Fate and ask for a boon. But it came with a warning: to call on a Fate was to risk death. I didn't care about the risk. If I didn't do something, I would be exposed as a Shade during my first shift, and

Waves of Fate

Waves of Fate

Desperation drove me toward higher ground, clinging to the faint hope of rescue. However, luck wasn’t on my side. Out of nowhere, a massive wave slammed into me, sweeping me off my feet. I crashed into the sea, the icy water flooding my mouth and throat with its salty sting, leaving me gasping for breath. “Don’t freak out. Just stay calm...” I repeated to myself, clawing for control. I tried to swim away from the jagged rocks, but my belly slammed into one, its sharp edge slicing through me like a knife.

Fate's Cruel Edit

Fate's Cruel Edit

He held me so tightly, promising, "I don't believe in fate. I only know that you are the love of my life." I had believed him. Every memory of our love felt vivid, still so close—yet now, he had abandoned me for another woman without a second thought. I didn't understand. Was fate truly something we couldn't fight? Had it really pulled him, irresistibly, into Grace's arms? My whole body ached, each breath felt like fire. I couldn't tell whether the pain came from the wound or from my heart. Darkness fell like a curtain. When I came to, I was lying in a hospital bed.

A fate unplanned

A fate unplanned

She didn't know who he was, she had never met him before but she knew right there and then that he was her mate. She didn't admire his features for long as she immediately moved away when she heard him call out. “You…” Fear immediately gripped her and she stood straight. She bowed immediately and apologized. “Forgive me, I… it wasn't intentional”. She quickly explained but he remained quiet. 'how is this possible? The moon goddess said I didn't have a fated mate but I'm very sure I feel the mate bond with her. Did she really give me a chance'? He thought still looking at her trying very hard to hide the shock he was feeling.

A Fate Reclaimed

It was also because what she stole had always been my destiny to begin with. I looked up at him and smiled lightly. "Then how do you plan to make it up to me?" Jonah curved his lips and pulled me into his arms. "With a lifetime. Is that enough?" Jonah gave me a grand wedding. The moment he held my hand was the first time since my rebirth that I truly felt alive. On the wedding day, I saw my parents. Their eyes were red as they reached out with trembling hands, trying to grab mine. My gaze, however, was cold.
