Char and I took our seats beside Grayson, waiting for the proceedings -or whatever the fuck this is- to start. A small, slim brown haired man who looked like he was one wind from being blown away, walked farther into the room. He turned and pinned Char with his dark eyes. I took the opportunity to study his uniform. It was almost the same as I'd seen Blade wearing in the plane, albeit without the weapons or the symbols on it. The color schemes were the same though and it had the same shimmering air to it.

'I, for one, can't wait to go into combat with you first thing at dawn. 'Challenge accepted beta,' I responded, and watched him suppress a smile. "Let the ceremony commence!" Elder Rufus shouted, and the pack howled. I watch my mother walk to the ancient stone slab holding a knife. The same knife that has been used for generations for the transference of power. The knife blessed by the Moon Goddess herself. Tonight she is not just a mother, she is Luna Sabina. Acting accord as she hands the sharp knife to the elder. She takes a step back and stands in front of us as she unties the ribbon from her waist and holds it out for us with her palms open.

"Thanks for the warm-up, guys." Luckily for me, there wasn't enough time to fix the hole where Unstoppable had broken through. Strolling in, I’m about halfway through to where I need to be before someone tackles me from behind and I drop to the floor. Pushing myself up, I look around for what happened. I turn around and come face-to-face with the OutCasts. SpeedBlade: “You,” I say, pointing at him with my sword. “I believe your name is Lightning Storm, right? I wouldn’t think about going any further."

Haris was taken aback when he saw Adrian's attack. He had a deep impression of the Inferno Purgatory. It was this move that told him that Adrian’s weapons were top-notch treasures. As someone from Blade's Reach, Haris had been around weapons since childhood, particularly swords. Adrian's Divine Frost Slayer Blade was the most enigmatic weapon he had ever encountered. It seemed to possess a consciousness of its own, making it extraordinarily mysterious. As for the Hellblade, he deduced from his clashes with Adrian that it was an exceptionally rare and valuable weapon.

As the shadow blade finished, it reached level 5 and the Shadow Blade could change his name. Leo decided to change it to Erza, after the anime he liked. Leo now could summon the sword by just saying the name of the sword. And it could vanish when he says vanish, it would turn out helpful in a fight.

I grip her hand on my hair, flinging it to the side, “I believe you can speak in your boundaries. I hate people with no manners, stroking my hair.” She pauses, then pulls her face closer to mine, her eyes run through my face and she whiffs in amusement. “You have guts. Hmmn… not bad!” Pushing her face away from mine, in a low, malicious tone, she responds, “Alpha Blade can not have a Luna because of his crimes. He’s yet to face the consequences of the taboo he committed in the pack. So, the elders of the pack can not pronounce anyone as his Luna yet. Just yet.”

“I’m dead serious. I’ve done all the research I can in this world and i;ve never been more certain about a thing in my life than this. Blade is a werewolf and I'm his mate. They can have human mates too.” Not only was it amusing that she knew Blade was a werewolf, it shocked me ten times more to know that she was Blade’s mate. It sent a wave of relief to know that Blade's fate was starting to come into view and he could finally see the truth and forget me. However, it didn’t stop the way my heart raced at the thought of her finding out.

I thrashed against the ropes. "Nathan, wait..." He didn’t. The knife plunged into my chest with a sickening squelch. I screamed. Fire ripped through my body. He pulled it out and drove it in again. My scream echoed into a raw cry of anguish. He pulled the blade out and licked it. "Relax," he said casually. "It’s just an ordinary knife. You're a werewolf Luna, so you won’t die. Not like I'd let you." Tears stung my eyes, but I refused to let them fall. My breathing came out in sharp pants. I glared at him through the haze of pain.

“Thanks, Clara.” The walk to Aaron’s study was short, but it took me past the open doors of the common room. A few off-duty warriors were lounging there. One was idly sharpening a knife. As I passed, the one with the knife (Kieran, a young wolf with a shock of red hair) looked up. He met my eyes and gave a slight, respectful dip of his chin. It was not the full bow of ceremony, but the everyday acknowledgment of an Alpha’s presence. It was natural, unforced. My heart gave a small, satisfied squeeze.
