Even Sr Gustav initially thought Angelo was looking for kids born on that specific date; until she realised that not even Angelo had anything to do with it. “Perhaps it’s a sign that we should make this day a special one for all the kids at CHANCES.” Angelo had said to Sr Gustav back when the second set of ‘twins’ arrived. “We will commemorate it monthly and make it a special occasion for all the kids. So the day became extra special and was unanimously declared The Special Life Day. Everyone at CHANCES celebrated life on the particular day, as if it were their birthday.

“And whether we deserve it.” After a beat, Kael stepped forward and set his war sigil down beside the raven feather. “Frostreach stands with Bloodmoon.” Daren followed, slower. “Northwatch, too.” The Flameborn twins added their mark. Thorne hesitated… but then laid her ring of Ashfen on the table. One by one, the packs pledged. Selene straightened. Then lifted her blade, planting it into the center of the war map. “This is the last stand,” she said. “We gather in three nights. Ready to march. Ready to burn every pit he’s built and end the bloodline of Deathborn once and for all.”

"It was the day you met me…the day your planet died." Arius' eyes widened a bit at the mention of the event. Was it really in seven days? Was that really the anniversary of the day his life changed, the day he lost everything? That day was the beginning of the war between the Deslyans and the angels. It was a day to remember, and he had nearly forgotten. Being on Earth was probably the reason. He had been so preoccupied lately that it had completely slipped his mind. "In seven days, this will all end," stated Lucius. "I wanna put an end to this little war we've waged. On that day, one of us will die."

★★★ THE WEDDING DAY ★★★ Today was the day of Lucifer's wedding to Isabella. The Feral Fury Pack had spared no expense in preparing for what was to be the grandest event in their history. The palace was a spectacle of modern elegance combined with ancient tradition. Twinkling fairy lights adorned the walls and trees, casting a magical glow over the scene. The air was fragrant with the scent of thousands of white roses and lavender, creating an intoxicating blend that symbolized purity and strength.

It was scheduled for Saturday at 3 pm. I looked at the calendar, it being May 16th, and I frowned. Yes, I had a bad feeling about that date, as it reminded me of the day I was left at my wedding. Not in the month of May, but on the 16th, so that day, I gave it the nickname unlucky day. The day that I didn't schedule or plan something very important or that my happiness depended on it. I knew I shouldn't think like that, but it stayed in my subconscious.

Arrington smiled and said, “Lord Wade, the doctor asked you to drink less and try not to drink as much as possible. Besides, you will have to get up early in the morning tomorrow. I’m just afraid that something will happen if you were to drink, so I did not prepare it.” Cadfan had a straight expression on his face as he said, “Let me ask you. What day is it today?” Arrington said, “The fourth of April. Why?” Cadfan cursed, “Nonsense! How can I not know that today is the fourth of April? I mean, what big occasion is it today?!” Arrington’s eyes twinkled. He thought about it quickly and then hurriedly complimented, “Lord Wade, today is the day where Ten Thousand Armies will destroy the Wade fa

Ultimately, they were reduced to the bottom of the pyramid, stripped even of the smallest share of resources by previous chairmen. If things continued like this, they were bound to face extinction. In my past life, on the brink of death, I'd seen a pair of green eyes so bright, they were like gems. They were beautiful, and I knew that Landon was the only one who had such eyes. He'd charged into the sea of flames without hesitation and tried his best to save me and Tim. Unfortunately, the fire had been too fierce, and he'd failed to do anything. In the end, he had died with us.

Alek’s aura surrounded me silently, no words needed. I stepped forward and laid the pillow gently against Zebasthian’s side. My voice was thin, broken, but clear enough to echo: “Sleep well, my little warrior. This is not goodbye, only goodnight. Rest now, until the day I wake you, and we laugh together once more.” The room blurred with tears, but I stood taller. This was his special day. Not his funeral. Not an ending. A moment frozen under the Yellow Moon, a promise that innocence and love would not be forgotten.

she answers quietly after a few seconds, "What about your dad? When are you going to give the good news of his return?" "I have no idea. He's been postponing his return. Apparently, he met someone," I laugh and roll my eyes. I really can't imagine my father dating someone after being in deep grief for four years since my mother died, but I do feel like it’s time for him to move on, "Jubilo Day is the day of good news and blessings, so I'll talk about his return too, whether he's here or not. Hopefully, we'll get some snow that day and everyone will be excited."

Rowan said, just staring back at me with his head cocked off to the side. I stared at him with wide eyes. Holy shit! How did he know who I was and what happened?! Did the news manage to spread so far in such a short time period?! I just slowly nodded my head. Seeing as I was basically now classified as a rogue, I was at Rowan’s mercy. “Something for the shock?” Rowan asked me as he passed me a glass of whiskey. I didn't really feel like trusting him.
