Fateful Day Novels & Stories

I felt my heart still and the blood drain from my face. “That’ll kill her if she’s not a werewolf.” Dad nods solemnly. “That’s why you need to find an explanation. Quickly. The full moon is wednesday.” That only gives us three days to research. “Can you fight it? Can you convince them otherwise?” “This is their only request. Many of the pack members agree as well. There is no other choice.” Here I thought we were safe, that we could finally just be together. Apparently fate has other plans in mind. “Have you… have you completed the mate bond?” I understood instantly what he meant.

I sighed. "The alpha of the enemy pack...and my sister..." I thought out loud. I had promised dad that I would protect mom, Astra, and the entire pack and do all I could for them. But Astra was now connected to Jay. I knew deep down that no matter what we do, Astra should not be going against the moon goddess herself. I still clearly remembered how terrifying it was to face the moon goddess. I did not want Astra to go through it. Astra and Jay were deeply interconnected, no matter how you looked at it and there didn't seem to be a way that could separate them and change the destiny that the moon goddess had given them.

You can't see him without an appointment" "you could just tell him it's Hazel...he knows me...I really won't take much of his time" Hazel tried to persuade the woman, but she wasn't having it. In the end, she had returned to the Gray mansion feeling dejected. If only she had a phone, she'd have called Damien to inform him she was at his company. That bully had left her without a way to contact him. Returning home, Damien freshened up and went down for Dinner, hoping to see Hazel, but she never came down for Dinner.

It was during this time that fate, with its uncanny sense of timing, decided to intervene once again. The sun shone brightly on that fateful day as I stood among the wedding guests, watching two souls unite in matrimony. It was a mutual friend's wedding, and I had hesitantly agreed to attend, knowing that it was an opportunity to celebrate love and joy. Little did I know that this occasion would serve as the backdrop for another unexpected twist in my journey.

I did not see the wolf around after the lightning. Did my desperation for revenge gave me hallucination…? It seems I have finally reached my limit. Looks like today will be a good day to die. “Í DAG ER DAGURINN SEM þÚ DEYRÐ, SNÁKUR!” (TODAY IS THE DAY YOU DIE, SNAKE!) Z— Z— Z— Z— ZZT— BOOM!!!!!!! Five lightning rains down; however, each of them missed by hitting the nearby trees, causing them to burn.

Instead, I was the one who ended up getting stabbed and the Duchess would have been almost killed if I hadn't protected her. "Hold on, Kaylla. Linia? When was today's date?” I start speaking in a raspy voice, as though I’m currently also panting from running, but I ignore my surroundings because I’m curious to know whether this is just another ramble of my soul or whether fate had indeed delivered me home. “Milady, it's the day before your birthday in the year Admonerus, and something just happened!”

His hair was missing except for a few patches, and his face looked as though it had endured enough use for two life times. The man whispered in-audibly for the holo-phone and the woman said for him, “What happened to Elijah?” “He has been decommissioned. Please no longer speak of him.” Lucas said coldly. The old man whispered again and the woman said, “Come to the tunnel south of fifth. 6pm. Alone.”

I muffled under my breath as I was surprised. “Wait. Isn’t it the same date when you had an accident too, Merry?” May points out. “Oh my gosh, yeah. July 14, 2020. Yes! You had an accident on the same date at around three in the morning.” Claudine reminds me. “That’s so freaky.” May stated. “Do you think there’s some mystery that happened?”

GERALD. I staggered out of bed that fateful day, taking a moment to heave a deep breath. Fateful, it sounded like a bespoke understatement. Today was a gruesome reminder of the accident that took Lydia’s life. Or as some people would call it—an anniversary.

*** Day 1 An old friend I used to love called Raphael died on June 30, 2015. No, he didn't have a large fancy funeral or anything. I honestly don't know where his soul went.
