Gianna ━⊰ ❦ ⊱━ My eyes felt like someone had rubbed sand into the sockets. I tried to blink, but my lids were heavy and stuck together. Everything was too bright. The light coming through the gaps in the curtains felt like a needle stabbing straight into my brain.

I turn my attention from the thoughts running through my mind to his eyes. “And listen to my voice. Okay?” He asks, I nod. “You say they remind you of the ocean right? The bright blue waves crashing on the sand. The sound that could put almost anyone’s mind at ease. The salt in the air creating a beautiful scent. The sand on your feet, feels like memory foam every time you take a step. Is that what my eyes remind you of?” He says, my breathing gets a little better. “Yes” I gasp, trying to collect more air.

Liv lifts a hand to her face, rubbing at her still closed eyes. They are so dry that they feel like sandpaper. She tries to open them but the light hits them and they burn like fire. She quickly closes them with a quiet groan, lifting an arm to cover them in the hopes of eliviating the pain.

Everything went black as the golden dust disappeared and suddenly I was thrust back into the reality of my life, back into the blackness that only I could see. As the darkness wrapped around my eyes, I slowly lifted my eyelids and felt my more notable senses return, as I heard the beeping of what I could only guess as a heart monitor. It was an odd sensation as I moved my fingers, feeling the smooth hairless skin that was once fur and feeling the aches that ran up and down my arms as I curled and uncurled my fingers. I try to blink but I can’t my eyes are wide open now and starting to burn.

With all of Novi's strength and soul, the remaining dirt stuck to Criss's face and clothes fell on her beautiful face. "Ouch... My eyes hurt." Novi complained when she felt sand in her eyes. Criss immediately let go of his arms and he looked panicked. "Which part hurts? Here, I'll help blow the sand out."
