Venom dripped from Freya's lips as she picked the discarded cell phone off the floor, pulverising it into dust with her hand. Fury suffused her, her feral side dominating. She loomed over the fallen woman, talons out, fangs bared, black pitiless eyes boring into her curled up body.

She then jumped up onto the railing, so that she was squatting on it like a damn gargoyle, she then held onto it with one hand and leapt off of it. Her wings fanned out further, as they guided her gracefully to the floor. I could hear her heels tap angrily against the tiled floor as she stomped towards me. “I may not be a Phoenix like you, but I have been a hunter and a hybrid since before you could talk, you are no match for me Freya!” She said in a rough tone as she approached me.

Chapter Four “This is Elaine, Alpha Jacob’s daughter.” He said with a warm smile. I stayed silent but deep down my heart was erupting the flames of sadness. “I am Freya, Alexander’s wife.” She said with a warm smile stretching out her hand for a handshake. I didn’t need the goddess help to know that she was sounding the alarm that he belongs to her. I forced a smile but I had no time to accept the handshake, her hands were suspended in the air. This may seem so rude, but at this point I didn’t care.

Freddie sent out another hoot of laughter. “Dignity? Boy, what man wouldn’t love to have all the pretty ladies practically throw themselves at his feet?” Freddie exclaimed between laughter and James allowed his disgust to show. None of those women really were interested in him but his pretty boy face, as Freddie put it, or his bad ass reputation.

Her creamy skin looks so soft that she wants to take a bite of it. “Enough! She’ll catch an evil eye” Freya pushed Darla aside and covered Goldie with a baby blanket. Everyone stifled their laugh at shocked Darla. Freya can be mean when it concerns the baby. She won’t let any harm near Goldie. “Oh my! You’re still here, grandma”

It was actually a boggy creature about the same height as she was, blinking rheumy eyes at her. “You caught me.” It said in Zeldaurus’s voice. “I can scent your royal blood all way from here.” It sneered. “I will feast on your flesh and suck the marrow from your bones.” Freya was getting pissed. Could she not a spend a measly hour resting after walking all day without something new wanting a piece of her flesh? She was sick of running and hiding. She wanted to fight. She charged at the creature, her wolf surging to the surface to protect her and she let go of her human form.
