He then found the courage to look back at me and said, “I had done something I should not have during the attack on our pack. But I did it to save my soldiers and our people.”

He was obviously a trained fighter. Brady yelled, "Kill him!" Kruz Torres, an expert he had bought with a hefty sum from North Tuzela, was his best subordinate. Kruz had been helping Brady carry out the dirty work all these years. He had protected Brady many times.

Salen followed behind them with her hand on Brady's back as they helped him climb the stairs. Brady hung his head as they neared his bedroom. "Are you okay?" Salen asked, making Celus stop walking. Brady just shrugged, not looking up from the ground. "What's wrong?" She moved around him and placed both of her hands on his shoulders, making him look up.
