Fever Dream Book Novels & Stories

Chapter 48: Fever Dreams The fire had burned down to a bed of glowing red coals that cast a dim and dying light across the cabin floor. The air inside the room was frigid. It carried the biting chill of the blizzard outside mixed with the heavy and cloying scent of our mating. I lay tangled in the fur rug with Kael’s heavy arm draped over my waist. His skin was burning hot against mine but he was shivering.

“You’re being paranoid. Or maybe you’re just not attracted to me anymore. Which is it?” I opened my mouth, but how could I explain it? The sensation wasn’t fear exactly. It was warmer. Deeper. Like invisible fingers trailing down my spine, teasing the sensitive spot just above my ass. My clit gave a faint, traitorous throb. I pressed my thighs together, mortified. “Stan, please. I’m not crazy. It’s this new book I got today. Something about it—”

I sucked it up quickly, and decided it was pointless to beat around the bush. "I was hoping that I would be able to read a book with information on Reavers. I don't know much about them, but if I may be one, I think I have a right to know more." I said, hoping he would know what book I meant, this being a dream and all. "You mean the book from the other day?" He questioned, as he snapped his fingers and produced a book with a silver spine. It was the exact book from my last dream. I longed to get my hands on it.

A paper-thin book caught his eye as he reached for it, he whispered, “Where did this come from?” Written on the front in Celtic was a spell for dream walking that happened to in his grandmother’s handwriting. He thought she might have even used when he was younger, but he just wasn’t sure. To prove that he could take care of himself he wanted to try another spell. Any spell and that would do just fine. Opening the book, he read the spell, and it spoke of dream walking, and the evil one might find. "What the hell, he thought.” He was going to try it and be damned the consequences. Reading the list of things that he needed he made his way toward the attic with the book knowing where his grandm

His pants reveal a large bulge and I feel hot, too hot…Goddess I am burning up! I shoot up from the ancient sofa that I use as my sitting area. I am soaked in sweat and my body is hot while I have a raging hardon and images of soft breasts and enormous cocks flood my vision. What the fuck was that? It wasn’t exactly a nightmare; it was more like a fucked up wet dream! Who do I even ask about this shit? It’s a fairy trip…like something out of one of the fae clubs where everyone is eating mushrooms and drinking heathered wine and having a massive orgy. I have only ever been to one, but it’s a trip that you will never forget.

As for my dad, I hoped that the demon inside him came out soon. Sitting on my bed on a Thursday morning, with my book in hand, I drifted off into space. I didn't go to school the last two days. Although Liam and Lily went to school, I didn't feel like it. Kelly had been helping me with her notes and even the details of what happened. She was just the best. Nevertheless, the dream I had about Ben telling me I killed him was still on my mind, not to talk of when he said his death was the beginning of others. It still scared me especially when I had no idea what he meant.

she couldn’t finish the question. “Hey shhh! It’s okay. You were out for maybe a couple of hours. And your cousin is great. She’s still a little worn out but she’s already up and giving people hell. Look at me.” She nudged Elly’s chin until she brought her black eyes up to meet hers. “You are having fever dreams. That is it. None of this is your fault. Do you understand me? Just try to rest and if your dreams get too crazy remind yourself that they are only dreams.” Elly nodded. The relief brought tears to her eyes but the dream still nagged at her. It felt so real. She could feel her mother, smell her even. The heat of the bonfire against her skin was so vivid. At the very least it felt as

I was sobbing so hard I could barely breathe. Rowan grabbed a washcloth and wet it with water. He gently wiped my face, his touch was so tender it only made me cry harder. “Iris, what’s wrong?” he asked, his voice filled with worry. “Talk to me.” He pressed his hand to my forehead, and I heard him inhale sharply. “You’re burning up,” he murmured. “You have a fever.” But all I could think of was the dream. “Something’s wrong with me,” I sobbed, my voice breaking. “Rowan, something is really wrong with me.”

Rose pov "Rose Carson wake up now, you will be late for class and am going to leave without you" my older brother Danny shouted and threatened from downstairs. I forced my eyes open as I lifted myself off the bed, have be having strange dreams lately about a white wolf and a red eyes alpha"am awake" I responded knowing fully well that my brother can leave without me for real

She had a difficult time telling if anything was real or if it was just a dream. When her fever was at its highest, she found herself soaked in her own sweat and her mind was in a flurry. Her speech was slurred, and she couldn’t think straight. The only thing that calmed her down was the light scent of honey and pine. She felt someone hold her hand while she struggled through the fever.
