Sam said softly. "Sam? You're here, I'm not dreaming?" whispered Luna while touching Sam's face slowly with her fingers. "I'm here, Luna. I'm with you," Sam said so slowly. A tear fell from Luna's glazed eyes. The woman cuddled up and hugged Sam tightly. Even if this is a dream, Luna still wants to stay with Sam. "Your fever has gone down, thank goodness," Sam said while stroking Luna's hair gently. "Sam, I'm sorry," Luna said hoarsely.

Her lover fucks into Moni in an increased pace and Samantha can only watch in horror as Alexander groans, body locking up and trembling, coming inside Moni. Samantha's eyes slide to Moni's treacherous face, finding the other has her eyes open and is looking right back at her. Moni nuzzles into the crook of Alexander's neck and flashes her a provocative, mean smirk. Samantha wakes up with a jolt. The dream still seems to sizzle inside her brain and Samantha gives a dry sob. It's real. It's real, she knows it. Her heart beats in an increased pace and a dark, looming feeling makes a home inside her chest. Samantha feels like someone'd stabbed her heart, so painful it is.

Brain. I grabbed one of the daggers, held it in my hand. It was cold. Samantha flipped on the bed, a soft whimper escaping her lips. I walked over, sat beside her, and gently brushed her hair back. Her eyes fluttered open. “I had a bad dream,” she whispered. I nodded. “Same” She sat up slowly, leaning on me. “Are we going to stop them?” I held her close. “Not just stop them, baby. We’re going to end them.”

Third Person's POV "Is it true that you barely ate breakfast? Feeling unwell?" Caldwell's mother, Samantha, asked. "Just a poor appetite—nothing serious. Don't worry," Skemon replied. Skemon opened his eyes, noticing Samantha's weary expression. "More nightmares last night?" he asked with a frown. Samantha's face was etched with sorrow. "Lately, I keep dreaming about Poly. I don't know why." Skemon sighed softly. He knew her "dreams" were nightmares—visions of Poly being tortured.

Trista's POV I walked into the high-rise downtown, carrying takeout and a vial of wolf fever suppressant. The elevator smelled of new carpet. The rain outside was filtered by the AC, leaving only a cold draft. When the door opened, Samantha stood there. She wore a thin-strapped nightgown. The night air left a chill on her shoulders. Her bare ankles were on the wooden floor. "How long have you had the fever?" I put the items on the counter and took out a thermometer.

“I’ve been banished, lost, lied to, and torn apart. I’ve looked into the eyes of dreams that weren’t mine. If fear was going to break me, it would’ve done it already.” Tavian gave her a long look. Then nodded once. “Good.” The potatoes crackled in the fire. They ate in silence after that burnt skins and all. It wasn’t much, but it felt like something sacred. Like a meal shared before war. Eventually, sleep pulled them back. Tavian took first watch, and Samantha curled up beneath her blanket, her back to the flames. But the night did not grant her rest. The dreams came again. But this time… they felt different.

Sam descended down the staircase, abandoning the plane that brought her from the United Kingdom. Her heart was beating out of her chest. It was a nice warm weather in the middle of the Egyptian summer.
