Novel & Cerita Feyre Ring

I smelled crushed leaves and blooming night-flowers. "How is that possible?" I muttered. Fenris stepped out of the narrow gorge. We entered a wide, sunken pocket in the mountain. It was a massive, thriving garden. The ground was covered in thick, lush green grass. Tall, leafy trees formed a canopy overhead, blocking the snow entirely. The air was incredibly humid. Small, bubbling pools of water sat among the rocks, emitting thick clouds of steam. The thermal heat from the deep mountain springs kept the entire caldera perfectly warm, creating an impossible oasis right in the middle of a frozen wasteland.

Like he used to be to Nim. “Disseus.” Lon said between bites. “If Fey can turn into those giant birds we saw the other day, how do you fight that?” Meaning when I worked as a Harbinger. A fey enforcerer. “First.” He lifted a finger. “Not all Fey can fly. Only the Guardians. And if one of those goes Firoque, he’ll soon lose the ability.” Most of what I hunted could not fly any longer. “But what about when you do have to fight one?” Lon persisted.

"Let them wait ten minutes more. I’m almost finished with the calibration." Althea looked down at the workbench. Resting there were two rings—not the heavy, gaudy bands of the old regime, but the ones they had forged together. Made of dark meteorite iron and inlaid with a single, continuous strand of Celestial Silver, they formed a perfect swan when pressed side-by-side. "Do you ever miss the quiet?" Althea asked, leaning her head against his chest. "I have all the quiet I need when the palace sleeps," Julian murmured, tilting her chin up to meet his gaze. "But I don't miss the hiding. I don't miss the secrets."

High above the cliffs, in the quiet sanctuary of the Citadel’s master tower, Agnes stirred in her sleep. She lay tangled in the heavy linen sheets, her head resting against Rhys’s broad, bare chest. Rhys was sound asleep, one massive arm wrapped securely around her waist, his deep, rhythmic breathing rising and falling in steady comfort. Over his sternum, the **Apex Core** glowed with a faint, peaceful violet light. Suddenly, Agnes’s right hand twitched. The uncut moonstone of the Starfall Fate-Ring flared with a sharp, icy blue spark—a cold, frantic pulse that shot straight through her nervous system.

The wind barely moved the branches, and the usual sounds of night animals were missing. Even the forest seemed afraid of the valley ahead. Behind me, Faye rode quietly on one of the horses we had taken from camp. She held our daughter close to her chest, wrapped safely against the cold. Despite everything she had been through, she looked steadier tonight. The Lunaris echo was helping her. Every now and then I saw the faint silver pulse travel from the moonstone to the baby, and then to Faye. Like a quiet chain of power binding them together. Still, I could see the exhaustion in her eyes. And it tore at me.

She was definitely not dressed for a jungle adventure. "It's an alternate Fay region of subspace co-existing with our universe", Perla explained, "and a secret of mine", she added with a wink. "This Fay realm can only be entered through the energy field in my greenhouse." Perla continued grinding some herbs in a mortar with firm pressure from a rounded pestle. "And only with a key" Perla's eyes followed the wisp as it danced around the clearing. "A key?" Nueva couldn't shake the confused frown etched onto her rosy face from all the new information.

Into the tranquil ambiance, the silver ferns, Soulless Sonder, released another puff of swirl from the tips of their fronds, steadily increasing the fine networks of divine air floating around. This was where she lived. A place where she once thought everything was as perfect as it seemed to be... Until she was exposed to the harsh truth. She was just a whelp when she first learned about the existence of Ring of Mortality—a transcendent wheel enclosing an electrified azure energy ball, levitating above a luminous golden hemisphere. Her species feared the click of the metal bar centered at the core of the half-circle. They feared being summoned as the next dragon for the recurring mission.

She is the oldest child and the future of Andora weighs heavily on her. “Are you ready my baby”, she hears her mom call, snapping her out of her thoughts. She quickly puts on her cherry flavored chapstick and slides on her beautiful Moon Ring. See when Merfolk turn eighteen they are given a Moon Ring to harness and enhance their abilities. All Merfolk have a gift and only very few have more than one gift. With Selene being a Royal and the next heir to the throne, she has several powerful gifts. The Moon Ring she has is even rarer with the diamond looking like swirls of stars intertwining with blue streaks, almost as if the land and ocean are trying to become one. It’s the only one of its kin

We find Fyre waiting in a clearing ringed by blackened stones, a throne of roots rising behind her like the antlers of some forgotten god. She stands tall, wild red hair streaming around her, but her posture is hunched, her eyes hollow. Around her kneel the wolves of Blackrock, their gazes blank, bodies rigid and silent as statues. Even Hael, Blackrock’s Alpha, is bent beneath her magic, sweat gleaming on his brow. When Rowan, Mara, Fen, and I break the edge of the glade, Fyre turns. Her eyes meet mine and the earth seems to shudder.

That's how close Aurelia is despite feeling so far away. "That there, where the ocean turns from a blue to an almost gold, is the beginning of the Merfolk Kingdom." She smiles and looks at it. "There, you can just see the beginning of the forest, where the Fae live, and behind it, you can see the mountains, where the Dragons live." She settles against me and smiles. "You and I are the only ones to see it from this angle. No one else will; you need to be this high to see it all, but it shows just how close everyone really is." It's remarkable and something she should see.
