It had only about three books: Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, and The Little Mermaid. There was none that caught my interest. Don't get me wrong, I loved those books. At least while I was younger, I had read them multiple times and had fantasized about having a prince charming. I still do, even though I knew what was going on in my life right now was far from being a fairy tail. I wouldn't be getting a prince charming and a never-happy after. Well, maybe if I survived this, I could at least try to lay low as Giovanni wanted even though I doubted his enemies wouldn't find me. No matter where I was, they were bound to find me and still make me pay for the sins I knew nothing about.

"Realms of the Shifting Shadows: Tales of Fantasy and Fur"’ was boldly written on the binding of the book. The book has intricate designs of werewolves under a glowing moon. I picked up the book and opened the first page, which had been aged. I couldn't tell how long this must have been here. The first page I opened was blank. This prompted me to open the second page; it was practically empty, just like the first. I continued opening until the fifth page because I was counting the number of pages as I flipped

I didn’t even have a wolf. The next book, The History of Gifts, looked promising. I sat down on the floor and opened it carefully, trying not to get my hopes too high. There were chapters about mind links, healing powers, even wolves that could talk to animals… but not a single word about silver fire. Or glowing fingers. Or dreams about strange women with snow-white hair. I let out a long breath, the kind that made your shoulders sag. I felt tired. Like the answers I wanted were still too far away.

I said awkwardly, as I remembered how, crazy I looked the first day we met, “Did you like the book?” She asked, “Yes, but a page was torn out” I looked around as I whispered to her, she came closer so a to hear me, “It's a page about A prophecy” “Aah, seriously” she gasped, I nodded yes feel like a boss, “It also has a map” I whispered to her again, “Really,” she asked “Yes, and I plan on going on an adventure” I confessed, “Are you going alone” she asked,

As soon as my head hits the mattress, I find myself being pulled into another dreamless slumber. I would certainly be warm, sleeping between two werewolves. “Okay,” I said, and slid onto the bed. I decided that Lucian had the right idea, and opened the e-book app on my phone. I had been reading a light hearted romance, but I didn’t want to give my libido any bright ideas so I switched to an adventure novel instead. “What are you reading?” Lucian asked. “Adventure,” I said, glad I’d decided against the romance, “It’s about a crew of pirates who travel the world in search of magical artifacts.”

I had so much time on my hands I could read every one of these books. I found three that sounded interesting then went to the cafe for a watermelon lemon water, I never heard of a drink like that before. I found a nice big chair on the outside patio and opened my first book. It immediately pulled me into the story. It was an action adventure that followed the life of a strong Beta devoted to his pack. He had to marry a fairy to bring more protection to his people. This book said fairies had magic that seeped out of their pores, making any submit to their wishes. It was a fictional tale so I wasn't sure if anything was true, but it was an exciting adventure.

Dust drifted lazily through the air, untouched by the silence that surrounded the room. She wandered slowly between the shelves, unable to hide the excitement in her eyes. "I could spend an entire lifetime in here," she murmured. Mia chuckled. I'm beginning to think you'd choose books over food. Adriana smiled. "I might." Her fingers trailed lightly across the worn spines of countless books. Some were bound in rich leather, others in faded cloth that had nearly fallen apart with age. She passed sections on herbal medicine, the history of forgotten kingdoms, dragon lore, ancient wolves, and magical creatures she had never heard of.

How could she think about him when only moments before she was thinking about the hated Dave and how much she feared him? She flipped her laptop open again and decided she’d continue with her children’s books, the Sacred Sword series, urban fantasy stories about a brother and sister who found themselves in the Himmapan world where the heaven and earth were at war, gods and demons fought for power, and amongst them were creatures like the naga, garuda, and hanuman who aided the two children in their journey to save this world.

Elle muttered to herself as she went in search of the books she wanted, she moved into the fantasy/paranormal section, she walked around for sometime before she came across a book that said "Aether world" She picked it up and scanned it, it talked about two realms that were once together. She quickly scanned the book once more, she saw names like halflings, faires, humans and a lot of weird things she saw in the other realm. The book said "fiction" in bold letters but she took it anyway. She made to sit down and read it there but she decided against that and walked to the librarian "I'll take this with me" she said as she placed the book on the desk.
