He leads her to the shelf labelled 'Fantasy' then reaches down for another volume. "What did you especially like about the story?" "Oh, everything! The children going to Narnia and the battles and Edmund being bad but then being sorry and being good. But I liked Lucy best. She's not pretty but she's so brave."

Dinda asked. “Of course,” Sebastian replied with a smile. He quickly searched for a storybook on the bedside table. After finding the right book, he opened the first page and began to read softly, trying to capture Dinda's attention. “Once upon a time, there was a princess who lived in a beautiful kingdom,” Sebastian started, his gentle voice flowing with the story. Dinda listened intently, her eyes sparkling as her imagination took flight with the narrative. Sebastian continued, “The princess was very kind and always helped those around her. However, one day, their kingdom was shrouded in a mysterious fog that made everyone feel anxious.”

Cannai claimed to furrow his eyes and brows still stocked on the same page. “It’s a fable,” she said as she read the last paragraph of the page. She turns the page. “What? Wait, I don’t understand the paragraphs, what does it mean?” Cannai asks, sounding serious. “It’s all about talking animals that give lessons to the readers. Mostly for children,” Nanami answered and get the book from Cannai’s grasp. “Oh, you mean us? We are foxes that talk,” Cannai said. Nanamai chuckled watching Cannai’s face in realization.

Frank asked, glancing in his direction, and Ivaan turned to face him. “No,” He said and opened the book he was holding in his hand. “You’re reading ‘The Alchemist’? The reading level is grade seven, I think?” Frank said, and he hoped Ivaan would interact more with him. “It’s full of life lessons. Such books give me hope everything will turn out well in the end,” Ivaan said and Frank actually didn’t expect such an answer from a nine-year-old. “I am amazed. Now I know why your mom calls you a wonder boy!” He smiled, but it didn’t have any effect on Ivaan and now Frank was losing patience as they were close to his school.

I mumbled to myself. That is accurate. Why can't they have only one or two truly good textbooks instead of publishing three, four, or even more interesting ones? I chose one of them and noticed that it was about a conflict between good and bad fairies, so I promptly returned it. No, I'm not reading five hundred pages of fictional tension and three fairy blatant hunks squabbling for a freaking so usual Disney princess. Give me a werewolf or vampire story with some alpha males on it any day.
