The Heart of the Storm The clearing around the old oak was a battlefield, strewn with blood and bodies, the mist swirling like a shroud over the fallen. Aria crouched at the edge of the tree line, Rollan pressed tightly against her chest, his mark pulsing with an eerie light that seemed to hum with the chaos around them. She turned her head to watch blood pour from Wyatt’s broken face.

The three adults in the room looked at Quan with unusual shock. “When did that happen, honey?” Mr. Adan whispered worriedly. At that moment Quan's body trembled. She almost cried as she whispered, “B-Before I killed them.” Not having had time to feel the shock again, the sky suddenly darkened. Evan mumbled something about the eclipse that had already started. However, that wasn't the only thing that happened. Their neighbors suddenly shouted at each other. Their screams were choked with unavoidable horror. Mr. Adan ran to the window and he saw something that made his heart stop functioning for a tense second.

Twilight stopped giving out orders to the clones. The clones went into a frenzy and could not tell between friend and foe; they began to attack Twilight. One of them bit Twilight's hand while another bit her neck. Within seconds, she collapsed on the ground. The rest of the clones pounced on her. It was a brutal scene to watch. Everything happened too fast. Before anyone could react, Twilight was lying motionlessly in a puddle of blood. Larissa covered Vincent's eyes and turned her gaze away. The crazed clones continued to attack even after murdering Twilight.

Theron's POV The day of the event was finally here. This is the day I officially put Twilight on the map. Another success to celebrate. Many of my past lovers have been calling nonstop to accompany me to the event but I turned them all down. I don't want any drama tonight so I decided to just go alone.
