He aimed his gun at the rear and hit two in a row that would have rushed at Ares. Luna closes her eyes to see how many are lying on the floor, lifeless and bathed in her blood. She almost wanted to faint at the sight of two heads rolling at the same time at her feet. He realizes that Ares is holding two swords, which the man is using now to fight. Maybe it ran out of ammunition. Luna chased her breath when she suddenly felt gradual dizziness. She closed her eyes tightly while chasing her breath. Even with her eyes closed, she could see the various images etched in her mind from her dreams.

My voice made Caleb and Luka jump from their place. Wait a minute, why was Mr. Cop here? I didn’t tell any of these to Caleb. She crashed into the vanity, sending perfumes and jars shattering to the floor. Wrapping my fingers in the hem of my shirt, I snatched up a shard of mirror glass edged in silver and slashed it across her cheek. Her scream was loud enough to bring down the roof. Blood trailed down her face, instantly masking half her features. She collapsed, too terrified to try me again.

Taste it. --- But Mason was faster. He tackled her from behind, slamming her into the ground. Claire screamed, thrashing wildly. Mason’s hand closed around her throat, squeezing. "You stupid little—" he hissed. Claire clawed at his arm, desperate. Black spots danced in her vision. She couldn’t breathe.

MEREDITH'S POV "I didn't mean to. I got lost and was just trying to navigate my way back to the dining hall," I hissed, as his fingers pinched at my flesh. "What did you see? Better yet, what did you hear?" He demanded answers. I swallowed, blinking back the tears in my eyes. That scene from Twilight flashed inside my head when Laurent caught Bella alone walking in the woods and an apparition of Edward appeared before her eyes, warning her of danger.
