The water surged around them, and the glass walls shook, threatening to shatter. “Vincent…” She struggled to speak. His eyes blazed with intensity. “I told you…We fight together.” The glass fractured, cracking in intricate patterns like spiderwebs. The council shouted in anger. The red-tied man raised his hands, but the flames twisted around him, refusing to let go of him. Vincent pressed his forehead against hers. “When it breaks, hold on to me,” he whispered. Camela's voice trembled. “What if it kills us?”

Next, some liquid splashed down, and her bones shattered, then slowly dissolved into a puddle of water. The water evaporated under intense heat, leaving behind nothing but an empty and spotless surface. The video stopped. On the darkened screen, Jason saw his own bloodshot eyes staring back. “She... really left me with nothing...” His voice was a broken mix of laughter and tears. He sounded deranged, as though he had lost his mind. Eric, who was standing nearby, could not bear it anymore and stepped forward. “Mr. Fender...” The man with glasses spoke softly. “Our deepest condolences.”

“What did I say the last time?” Everybody went still. He marched over, looking pissed. “You wanna tear my arcade up again?” “No, sir,” a few of us muttered. Mr. Connor looked between both groups and pointed a thick finger at us. “Then quit acting stupid.” Nobody said a word. He narrowed his eyes. “If I see one shove, y'all are banned from here. I'm not joking. This is your last warning.” “Yes, sir,” we all said. Mr. Connor gave us one last warning look before walking back toward the counter. Nobody moved or said a thing for a long second.

"Mr. Wayne, this is the repaired dashcam footage." Wayne took it and pressed play. Arden's broken voice came through the speaker. "Wayne… I've known for a long time that you could walk, but still, congratulations. And thank you for risking your life to save me five years ago. But this marriage you built out of lies, letting me live in fake happiness—it has to end. I don't blame you for deceiving me, but I'll never forgive you either. Goodbye, Wayne…" Her words were cut short by a deafening explosion.
