The Rule

The Rule

She shook her head slowly, her voice carrying the warmth of unshaken faith. “Can a mother forget her suckling child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? She may forget… yet I will not forget thee, saith the Lord.” His gaze flickered, as though something within him wished to hope, but dared not yet. “And if I have disobeyed,” he whispered, “to a depth where forgiveness no longer reaches?” She did not flinch. “All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men, whether against the Father or the Son. But the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven.”

Married for Revenge

Married for Revenge

"Yes! I know you have bad blood with your father, but remember that he is your father! It is important to be a filial child no matter what! Plus, this is our chance to kick Marie out of the family! That mistress never deserves a space in the beginning!" Veena swallowed the urge to scoff at Emmon's words. The old man was forcing 'filial' actions unto Lois. She felt disgusted. "Alright. I'll be there tomorrow." Lois affirmed. Veena ended the call and looked at her husband. "You could've rejected it. Being forced to be filial will always be one of the ways for our parents to manipulate their children." "We can't deny their wants. It's part of the culture to be filial I guess. Also, grandfather

I Kissed The Billionaire

I Kissed The Billionaire

They had encountered numerous spoiled rich girls before, but I aimed to be the exception in their eyes. I inclined my head not only for the theatrics but also to conceal the revulsion that washed over me upon hearing the words "filial" and "love." Ugh. The mere thought made me nauseous. Love my sister? That would be an impossibility. It was as likely as crows turning white. The notion of filial love was repulsive to me. If there was any emotion, it was a sense of filial pity, but even that was reserved for those who truly deserved it. Clearly, the Hall family did not fall into that category.

Sinful Virtues

Sinful Virtues

But next to his reflection, he saw the shadow of Angeline. She was the "weakness" he hadn't seen coming. She was the "motivation" that was already starting to rewrite his priorities. He realized then that the "Sinful Virtues" weren't just the rules they lived by. They were the traits that would either bind them together or destroy both their empires. Angeline wasn't just his wife; she was a mirror held up to his own soul. And for the first time, Roman Moretti didn't like what he saw.

Tie Me Up Daddy

Tie Me Up Daddy

A man of forty-three, a man who ruled an empire built on cold logic and iron discipline—if I couldn't control my own heart, then I was no better than the children who played at my feet. "This isn't about importance, Vivienne," I said, "This is about honor. You have none. You have behaved like a spoiled brat who thinks the Vitale name is a shield for incompetence and cruelty. You have brought shame to this family, and in doing so, you have threatened the very foundations of our authority." "Daddy, please—"

Stop It, She’s Remarrying!

Stop It, She’s Remarrying!

“After my mom and grandma passed away, the three of them never showed any concern for me. I know, better than anyone, that despite them saying that we’re family, they had already excluded me. They worry that I will pull them into my problems. “But because of him, they hurriedly appeared in front of me. When they saw that I didn’t want to acknowledge him as my father, they even criticized me! Who gave them the confidence that I’ll do what they say?!” And how dare they call her unfilial?! If she obeyed them and acknowledged that man as her father, would that be considered filial? She was so angry and agitated! Why couldn’t she be just like them and criticize others without a care for the world

Dumping My Ex to Flash Marry the Untouchable CEO

Dumping My Ex to Flash Marry the Untouchable CEO

The words slipped out of Diana instinctively, even though she knew that Edwin had indeed done many things wrong. But there was no helping it. From ancient times to now, filial piety had always come first. Even when someone was clearly in the wrong, their status still remained. That was why Diana had always tried to persuade Lucas to stay calm. At critical moments, he had to rein in his temper. Otherwise, the rumors outside would become extremely unpleasant. Diana said earnestly, “No matter how bad he is, he’s still your elder. You can’t cross that line. Do you understand?

Lin Wilkerson
Book has good qualities, yet I find myself skipping parts of it because it becomes boring and drags. I Love that you are updating 6 or more chapters daily, but I would like this book finished with an awesome ending. Also, when will Lucas's identity be revealed? It's at 476 chapters and counting.

Currently I am losing interest in reading this book because of so much unnecessary dragging of the storyline. Plus Lucas' character is losing the charm and power it held at the start. Aurora and Lucas are now becoming the side characters in their own story.

The Forbidden Mate

The Forbidden Mate

he confirmed and Jeremiah just slightly nodded, “The custom in that country is that your parents could have a carnal relationship with anyone that they like.” Carson commented, intentionally to hurt Jeremiah, “That’s really disgusting, Aiden.” “I know right, this slave over here could also be a bastard,” Aiden said the cruel prejudice with a chuckle. Jeremiah's blood suddenly ran faster, his ears and face became red at the same time, “I am not a bastard!” he yelled to express his objection, “I am a legitimate son of my parents. I was born once they came here.” Aiden then began to speculate even more, “Yeah, but your father is bringing his omega followers here too, so it could be that your mo

I remarked rather than asked, “is there anything else you would like to say to me, father?” He chuckled, “Words that would shake the ground, probably,” he muttered, “can’t you see that I am staring down at my desk because I can’t even stand the mere sight of you, Malric? I am so disgusted, but my silence is under the auspices of my disappointment in you. No son of mine would be so despicable as to bed another man. It has never happened in the history of this pack and now, you have dragged our name to the mud! I bear you as a mark of stigmatization, Malric and so do our ancestors.”

Second chance at happiness

Second chance at happiness

I am here. Cornelius stood up and bowed deeply “My dear elders, Cornelius has been unfilial. Please forgive me.” “My dear child, what are you going on about?” Edith and Maryanne chided at the same time while Linus stood up, walked over to Cornelius and helped him straighten “Son, we have no grievance against you.” “We are not blind nor are we stupid.” Linus shook his head as he patted Cornelius’s shoulder “We cannot punish you just because your father was a senile fool, can we?”
