Filling Up My Roommates Novels & Stories

I decided to be the bigger person and got up to shut them; only to be stopped by one of my roommates; “It’s alright Lin. We have to be up by the way!” Klara, one of my three roommates; croaked getting up from her bed and stumbled her way to the bathroom. I chuckled a bit and sat down on my bed. For the next hour, my mind was filled with small conversations of my roommates about handsome guys at school, boring girl squads, and stuff. It was indeed the typical college drama. We got dressed neatly and soon left for the Testing Arenas.

She must have forgotten to close it after finishing up her homework which also explained why her room was somewhat cold. Her sock cladded feet moved towards the window to shut it when she saw the apartment caretaker talking to some random guy. "Must be someone looking for an apartment." she thought. Speaking about roommates, she was supposed to meet with hers by 3 p.m today at the Black Winx cafe before they head back to the apartment together. Apparently, she had put it on the rent-an-appart app and a couple of minutes later, she had received a couple of notifications from different interested people but one person stood out.

The vodka-punch-mess I’m drinking. Then— “Seth would hate this playlist,” Ramon mutters, scrolling through the queue. “Guy’s got the music taste of a divorced dad going through a crisis.” My body tenses before I can think. Cup halfway to my mouth. Tracey glances at me. “You good?” “Yeah,” I say too quickly. “Just didn’t expect… that name to come up.” “Oh. Right. Roommate situation,” she says casually, then turns to the others. “Alex lives with my cousin.”

So I wait every night for her to retreat to her room and once I am sure she is asleep, then I move to restock my food and energy supplies. Since I don't have much to do in my room, either I work out, play games, or I am cleaning. Yes, I am cleaning my room. So what? Not every guy is a pig when it comes to his room. But it is starting to get boring. I think even my best friend is getting sick of me moaning about the situation. But who can blame him. Since I have nothing to do, I bug him all day long. And I mean it literally.

"Whatever mess you've gotten yourself into, deal with it before you come back here. I'm not interested in being dragged into problems that have nothing to do with me." "Lucas... I-I'm sorry about what you saw that day," he said, wincing in pain. "It really isn't what you think it is." “There’s nothing to apologize for,” I said. “We’re just roommates—nothing more. Whatever you choose to do with your life is your business, not mine.." “But whatever mess you’ve gotten yourself into, make sure it stays outside this house. I have no intention of being caught in the crossfire or cleaning up problems that don’t belong to me.”

I said, crossing my arms over my chest. "Nonsense!" said Kenneth, "Come chill with Brandon and I for a bit. Our other roomie's out partying with the girls, so it'll just be the three of us." Of course, the football team would be bunking up in shared rooms, just like us on the cheer team. Three to a room seemed much more cramped with these big men. "I...I'd rather not. I'm pretty tired," I protested. Kenneth pouted exaggeratedly. "Come on, I. I don't want to blackmail you with the medication. But I will if it means getting to hang out with you a bit more."

Knowing this, Henry instantly relaxed and rightly said, "It’s not necessary for you to live in a big house alone. Finding someone to share can also save the rent for your house decoration. " Liam, "Do I have to share with others?" "But your new roommate will be your dream girl." Henry smiled and said, "All right, I understand. You don't have to thank me, my guy." Liam couldn't make sense to him. "I'm going to your house now." "No way. I have to do something tonight. Don't fucking bother me." "I'm a big man," said Liam. "Do you think it's appropriate to live with a girl?"

How could he not prepare her for this? “I see,” she said weakly. All too well. “He is my roommate. This other fool is Dillon. He comes over and watches the game and plays cards with us.” “Wassup.” She hadn’t even given Dillon another look, she couldn’t, she tried. Her attention was drawn to the opposite side of the room. Swallowing the nerves in her throat, she looked around and saw a small poker table in the corner of the living room with a deck of cards and a few beers.

He was trying hard not to burst into flames and hunt the guy down. “I’m going to my room. I’m calling it a night.” Jess said, sounding kind of sad. She shouldn’t be alone. “Stay.” I told her. “My roommate went home for the weekend. No one will know you’re here.” I could tell she was worried about sounding too eager. “I could really use the company.” I added, for her benefit. “Okay, only cause you’re being so clingy.” She gave me the answer I knew she would.

I made a promise to everyone I left that I will be fine, and I'm not ready to let them down, there is so much on the line. Quietly, I placed my make up kit beside my bed, pleased with the arrangement, neatness and perfection of the room, I looked over to the empty bed which belong to someone I assume will be my roommate, I should have gotten an apartment, but I did not want to impose on the Jovannis more then I already have, which is why I'll be staying in a dorm, but on unlike other dorms which has more than three people in a room, I'll share my room with just a girl.
