Finally Bloomed Manga Novels & Stories

Chapter 20 - Confession 'Akira is like cherry blossoms on a spring day. She blooms beautifully and eye-catching, which captures my heart. A bright sun gives me warmth after a cold winter; she is like a breeze on the seaside that embraces me wherever I go. She touches me, kisses me, soothing my senses.' – those shallow words popped up in my head that I've never said.

" Then get ready." Bankotsu slowly exhales as he pulls out his white lotus flower. I was a little taken back at how the poor little thing survived Bankotsu's harsh treatment all these years after being puck from its home pond. The flower had no signs of wilt or even damage. It looked exactly like it was, moments before Bankotsu plucked it. As Bankotsu lifts the flower before him and slowly exhales, petals of the lotus flower start to fall, in front of him and piling up by the millions just a distance away. It all started swirling around slowly forming.

Even from a distance, he saw it: the quiet determination in the way she smiled at the receptionist, the way her eyes scanned the building like she was memorizing her future. She wasn’t just surviving anymore. She was blooming. And he was still a ghost on the outside of her story. He slid his phone from his coat pocket, hesitating before opening a private secure thread labeled simply: LB. Typing always felt too easy. But still, he wrote. Some things are too sacred to rush. Like healing. Like joy. Like the blooming of someone finally stepping into her light. I watched you from afar today, Layla. And it wasn’t out of obsession.

“What, so it just grew overnight?” “Yes,” he said, his voice unwavering. “It’s called the Magic Bloom. It’s older than any living creature in Velgrath. It only revives in the presence of a true Luna, one with ancient power in her blood, and that hasn't happened for long. When you returned, I noticed the first buds begin to bloom.” “Wow,” I whispered, gazing up at the Sakura blossoms above us. “That’s… unbelievable.” Azrik leaned forward slightly, his voice dipping low again. “You might start to notice changes, Nessa, around you, within you. My mark will begin its work, and with the baby you’re carrying, everything will begin to shift.”

His emotions tangled into a knot, and when he thought about the past, panic crawled up his spine. After all, Madeline had stood by him through his darkest days. … When Madeline came in to get a glass of water, she noticed something had changed in the living room. Flower petals were scattered across the floor, and a candlelit dinner for two sat waiting on the table. The sight felt almost laughable. She didn't need grand gestures anymore. What was the point of putting on a show like this? Madeline's brows furrowed. Then, she raised a hand to cover her mouth and nose.

Veyra tries to maintain order, but even she’s unnerved. “It’s waiting,” she says. “For what?” The Hunter’s voice is grim. ***For the Seed to make a mistake.*** The static in me shifts, harmonizing with the Seed’s song. It’s not just curious—it’s *hungry*. --- **The Blooming** The flowers begin to change. Their petals harden into crystalline scales, their cores pulsing with a faint, green light. The Forgotten who touch them vanish, their mutations evolving into something… else.

A reminder that it had been already three years since she moved into the manor, since she became Ayla Chevalier. Usually, a night-blooming cereus that had been carefully groomed would need another year or two before giving its first flower, that was what Lyra said. However, this plant was special, Ayla had always felt a strong spiritual energy emanating from it. And that night, apparently, it’d bloom for the first time. It was extremely important for her to be back before sunset. *** She met her friend halfway to the city walls. “You look exhausted.” Estée pointed out. “Ironic, since you rarely go out for missions.”

“M-madam, the flower has arrived,” “Shh, don't raise your voice; you might disturb Her Imperial Majesty.” “A-ah, sorry, but here are the flowers, as asked by His Imperial Majesty; they are all fresh and are Her Imperial Majesty's favorites,” 'Whose voice is that? I'm not familiar with either of them.' Valerie paused for a moment before gently opening her eyes, puzzled by the other two persons in the room's conversation as well as the foreign room architecture. She unexpectedly got up from her bed, startling the two people.

Sora followed them but Yukio and I went by the lake to look at the flowers. “What kind of flower is this, Mama?” He asked, pointing to the sweet pea flower. “This is sweet pea. This is mama’s favorite flower. Mama loves this flower so much that’s why mama calls you her sweet pea.” He picked one up and put it on my ear. “Yuki, come and practice with us. Let’s see if you still know how to use this.” Yorihisa tossed me a spear. I looked at Yukio and he had a confused look on his face. I glanced at Sora and saw that he was looking at me. He must not know that I know how to fight. I walked over to Yorihisa and gave him back the spear.
