Time stretched endlessly in the silence. No matter how I screamed, all I heard on the other end of the comms was the team manager, Ben Sutton’s repeated questions. It was then that I realized Thomas had cut off my audio feed long ago. Thomas’s feigned worried voice rose over everything. “Oh, Ben, don’t worry. You know how stubborn Jane is. She says she won’t make contact unless she breaks the record, insisting on creating a miracle all by herself.” I frantically adjusted the signal transmitter, my throat raw as I spoke out.

Fiona ran on all fours, and as soon as Felix landed on the ground, she bit him and used her teeth and her claws continuously on Felix making him bleed from all over. "Izaak, do you really expect a woman to fight for you?" Felix taunted me, amidst the punches and bites Fiona repeatedly gave him. I launched at Felix, about to punch him when everywhere became pitch black. I couldn't see a thing, not even with my wolf's vision. Felix's cackle filled the air. He was everywhere and nowhere in particular, just like he was back at the Pack. "Fiona, can you see Felix?" I asked her through the mind link. I couldn't even see her, but I could sense her.

Carmen screamed at me, I stopped dead in my tracks and then in a deep voice, and through gritted teeth I replied, “She's not a damn dog, she's my Fianna!” I then flew up into the night's sky as Freya shifted back into her human form, lovingly cradled in my arms. So that's pretty much the prologue of mine, and I recommend you to read the original fanfic before reading mine because I'm just gonna skip most details since I don't really memorize each detail because I'm too lazy, but be warned because the original is not for the faint of heart.
