The World isn't as Ugly nor Beautiful as You Think

The World isn't as Ugly nor Beautiful as You Think

Typical library for sure. ßenlong then walks slowly staying vigilant as he is aware of the guardian of this floor will come out and give them a surprise attack. Alfi looks at his surroundings and he feels familiar with the back of the books arranged on the bookshelves he passed. As he is curious, he gets off from ßenlong and approaches one bookshelf in front of him. He then takes a book with red back. And his prejudice is right. “I... It’s...” He is shivering by looking at the cover of the book.

The Alpha's Children - Book 1: Ume

The Alpha's Children - Book 1: Ume

It would be something I would look into later, if we needed it. “It’s time,” Ayla said with a slight giggle. She was more excited about this than anyone else. I watched as she took her place by the stairs and Logan handed me a large book. It was a book that all packs kept to write down every pack member in. I will be adding the newborns today. “Thank you.” I said, then Liam took the book and opened it. He would hold the book for me as I wrote. I looked at Jackson, who smiled and nodded at me, then my eyes fell on Ayla. I gave her a slight nod and she turned to the crowd.

Her thirst for vengeance

Her thirst for vengeance

“Maybe, Or someone powerfull or related to him. People in power bury things all the time.” That made me determined to find out the truth even more. I stood again. “Keep looking.” Another hour passed. I was starting to feel the same hopelessness I had when I first returned from the mountains — the feeling that I was always one step behind a truth I couldn’t grasp. Then Ingrid gasped. “Kayla,” she whispered, holding up another large leather-bound book with golden trim. “I found one! it looks like the alphas personal diary.” I moved quickly, taking the book from her hands. The cover read Alpha Dominic: Reflections and Private Thoughts.

Missing: The Woodland's Luna Queen

Missing: The Woodland's Luna Queen

Knowing not to keep me waiting, he appeared before me within seconds. "Alpha, we haven't slept at all since the Luna disappeared," he expressed. "We discovered their wrecked car and then a trail that led us to Alaska. There's only a small pack there, and Alpha Reeder has pledged to be on the lookout for anyone resembling our Luna's description. With so few permanent human residents there, any new arrival would stand out." I growled in frustration at the high ranking's stupidity, any fool could see it was a false trail. In Alaska, where the population is sparse and a visitor easily stands out, someone accustomed to warmer climates may find the weather less than inviting.

The Beta Killer

The Beta Killer

He checked his watch, “I'm meant to be on duty in five minutes.” Alissa bit her lip as they stepped onto the rolling green grass before Jack strode away. Alissa ran up the stairs, she got to her bookcase and pulled the three heavy leather bound books from their home. Alissa allowed her hands to run over the old worn black leather. White lettering stamped in the middle, she opened the first one, 'History of Wuffaman Wolves' she mused at the title. If any humans ever found this place, would they believe their eyes? She remembered this was the most organised and easy to find information of all the books she had read on their pack history. She flipped the pages until she hit 'H', she passed thro

Fire and Ice (The alliance Book 1)

Fire and Ice (The alliance Book 1)

“They later became joint alphas of the their pack. Do you think this could be the story of the alpha twins that we were looking for?” “Where did you say you found this?” He asked taking the book from me and glancing at the cover. “In the pack library, with the novels.” “I don’t think I’ve ever seen it before. I have no idea.” He uttered still looking it over before almost gasping as he sucked in a breath. “What?” “The author, M A Westoria.” “Yeah?” “Westoria was my mothers name.” He uttered seeming equally confused and amazed and I felt my own brows rising.

you know it's really disheartening to purchase the chapters of a book and find it's not finished and has not had an update in months. I believe that as customers, we should be reimbursed if the author is no longer going to update the story and finish it. I am very disappointed.
Amy Glinski
Loving this story! Lots of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. The author did have some issues updating for a month or so, but we all have IRL issues. Glad she is back! Can’t wait to see where she will lead us next!

The Third Twin

The Third Twin

In the late spring and summer, and with the aid of binoculars: humpbacks blowing and rolling and brandishing their tails. Once, Kristin and I had even spotted an orca leisurely hunting the open waters to the south, probably having followed a family of seals as they returned from their winter getaway. As magical as all this sounds, it was tough living. Juneau lay at the feet of the mountains, against the sea, and in the middle of a subtropical rainforest. The elements played hell on everything. Except for April and May, the precipitation was almost constant year-round. Add to that the windstorms, the salt, the silt, the ice, the avalanches, the stubbornly unpredictable waters, and the quicksa

A Rival for the Hockey Alpha

A Rival for the Hockey Alpha

Riven. Nothing. Like nothing at all. My brain spun. I moved around the space. But not with so much haste, even if I wanted to go on a rampage now, because I could already hear some of these girls whispering: “Look, it's the Alpha.” “He’s so handsome,” and all those stupid shits. I can't blame them; they had no idea what was actually going on under their noses. I walked in fast steps to the shelf where Alex had picked the book, and…

Bound by Fortune :A Scandalous Heir Billionaire Romance

Bound by Fortune :A Scandalous Heir Billionaire Romance

A brutal collage of his impossible choice. On the morning of the third day, Alan Price entered without his usual knock. His expression was unreadable. “Mr. Brian requires your presence on the helipad,” Price said. “In ten minutes. Pack for cold weather.” Davidson looked up, frowning. "Cold weather? Where are we going?" "Alaska," said Price, and left, leaving no question asked. Alaska. The word was so far removed from the glass-and-steel world of New York and Geneva it might as well have been a non sequitur. One of Brian's backup worlds, a place of far-off estates and strategic holdings, whispered about in dossiers but not visited.

The Alpha Assassin

The Alpha Assassin

I didn’t understand it. I waited for him in the library, absentmindedly flipping through a book that told the heroic tales of the previous Alphas of Black River that guarded their stolen land against the evil intruders, even though they started as intruders. A conqueror's tale, I snorted, slamming it shut. I wondered how many of these books actually told an unbiased account, but I doubted many, at any of the packs, did. I felt him edge closer. I could hear his soft steps on the carpet now, but still only barely.

Great story! Very well written with a strong main character and storyline. Well developed characters that you can sympathize with and dislike their actions at the same time. Would be awesome if there was a prequel story and just waiting on the sequel. Mar 27/24

Such a refreshing read!!! STRONG female lead. This was so different and so insanely satisfying. It has everything, drama, love, friendship, rebuilding. You’ll laugh and cry and go on an emotional roller coaster but it’s worth it. I’m going to re read it now
