Fingers Twitching Uncontrollably Novels & Stories

The room was starting to tilt. My mouth was dry, but I couldn’t stop licking my lips. My fingers twitched like they needed something, someone, to grab hold of. I was hot. Aching. I wanted… My pulse spiked, and I tried to stand up. The room lurched. My knees buckled, and I caught the edge of the table just in time to keep from hitting the floor. My whole body was on fire. Every movement made me aware of just how little control I had left.

It wasn’t only the strange heat that clung to him like a second skin, something too warm for a person who wasn’t running a fever. It was the shaking I saw in his hands when he thought I wasn’t watching. His fingers would twitch;  not a lot, but enough for my stomach to knot with concern. It felt really like something was growing inside of him, an unseen presence neither of us could really name.

But no matter what, the ticking remained the same beat over and over and over. His entire body shivered and shook, but not because he was cold or afraid. Rather, he just couldn’t help it. His body needed something it didn’t have and it literally went insane on him. His muscles spasmed as his nerves randomly shot out signals. It was simply trying to tell him that something was very wrong. It just didn’t know how. Or even why.

Ignoring the warning in her body. “Then tell me what it could be.” The doctor sighed. Then spoke carefully. “It’s likely not a standard toxin.” A pause. “More like a neurochemical trigger.” Fang Jia’s breath caught. “What does that mean?” The doctor’s expression turned serious. “It affects behavior.” Another pause. “Impulse control.” Her heart dropped. “Meaning…?” The doctor didn’t sugarcoat it. “It could make him act on thoughts he would normally suppress.” Silence.

I did nothing but sit there as a busboy cleaned up the shattered glass and a server attempted to remove all of the water that had accumulated on the table. I didn't know what to make of the situation, and it made me anxious. The toes on my right foot continued to twitch, as they had previously done on occasion. Danielle explained to me that it was only a habitual response. In spite of the fact that she claimed it to be a positive omen, the event drove me completely insane. It was impossible for me to make it stop.

I was getting restless and swerving in the beddings, memories were flashing before my eyes in spilt seconds, the pain kept increasing as I tried to figure out what exactly I was seeing, but the more I tried the more it went blank and distant, my own memory was out of my grasp and soon enough I won't be able to reach it, if I don't push harder. All of a sudden, I felt electricity sizzle in my feet, my body starting jerking slowly, from my feet to my torso, I was vibrating uncontrollably, my fingers starting twitching vigorously, my head was snapping from side to side, my heart was beating out of my chest, my insides were in a turmoil like my heart was gonna burst out or destroy my rib cage, m

It was humbling. I was grateful. Truly. But as I smiled and accepted their attention, a sense of unease lingered, gnawing at the back of my mind. It was subtle at first, an annoying, almost instinctual sensation that I couldn’t quite place. My eyelid twitched uncontrollably at times, like some kind of warning, a sign that something was wrong. I tried to shake it off. After all, what could possibly go wrong now? We were celebrating. Everything was perfect.

Glancing around for the watering can, I went about the small task of watering some of the pots. As soon as I tried to lift the can above the table, I was struck with a terrible tremor in my hand. I sucked in a sharp breath and bared through the struggling pain of not having total control over myself. My heart seized in my chest. I hoped that this wasn’t something that was permanent. I had a bad enough feeling that I was going to be dealing with other long-lasting issues.

It jolted me, and I reflexively pulled back, my hand clenching as I tried to steady myself. But then, without warning, a searing bolt of pain ignited from my fingers up through my shoulder. My finger slipped off the control button and my hand spasmed uncontrollably. The chair jolted to a stop, and I could feel it start to tip ever so slightly backward. Panic flared in my chest as I struggled to regain control, but my fingers wouldn’t obey. The pain was blinding, each pulse sending waves of fire through my limbs.

The familiar feeling caught up with her again, and she began to sob uncontrollably, humming at random sounds she could not understand. Then the second finger came in, not the same as before, just like the second person's finger. Faye's mind was a blur. She couldn't understand who was controlling her body and emotions. The stimuli became more and more intense. She suddenly arched her waist and clenched her hands into fists. She wanted to grab something, but at times, she lost control and let go of her hands in vain. But only in this way can the itchiness of the lower abdomen be relieved.
