"Pups in my oack coupd never do anything like this," He muttered as he watched the children walk away. Then he turned and looked at me, "This land is treating you well Adrienne. You have a spark in your eyes. I've never seen that before." I smiled and looked away without saying anything. "I also wanted to apologize to you," Finn said. "I should have stood up for you. I shouldn't have allowed Alpha Jake to treat you the way he did."

Jasmine could feel her face flushing as finn looked at a book that basically told him her dreams. “Jacob, your dad doesn’t want to look at that,” she said as she tried to grab the book again. “You do, don’t you?” Jacob said as he looked up at Finn. “Of course I do,” he said.
