"Can I take off this blindfold, please?" "Yes, you can," Shadrach nodded, taking the blindfold off. Wynter adjusted her eyes to the brightness. Slowly, she removed the blindfold, and her eyes widened in awe. She was right; they were in a garden, but not the one everyone could expect. The indoor garden was a magical oasis. Strings of fairy lights hung from the ceiling, casting a warm, golden hue over the lush greenery. Each plant seemed to shimmer under the light, their leaves glistening like jewels.

She followed closely behind him and the two disappeared into the forest. "Did you notice?" Weaver asked and Alex nodded. "Her brother is blind. That's probably why she thought it best to talk it out." Alex said and Weaver nodded. "Don't tell the others about the male being blind. It'll provoke some of the others to try and run him off." Alex said and Weaver nodded in understanding. "I'll take a group to start setting up markers upon our new territory." Wever said and Alex nodded wondering how someone who couldn't see had survived this long. He had help from his sister but he didn't seem to rely on her. . . .

It aches worse than anything I've ever experienced, which makes the suffering unbearable. The car is on fire and the flames are rising high into the sky.

Mini nodded her head. "I believe you." She said, clearing her throat to probably get rid of the lip forming within, and nodded to the stairs. "We should go." She said. "They're probably waiting for us." Mini and I walked the rest of the way in silence. She led me to the gym she mentioned earlier, where Ollen and Sam were sparing. I stood by the door and watched the two me. Despite being blind, Ollen was not at a disadvantage, as one might think. He moves swiftly, blocks attacks from his beta, and throws his own punches. He barely missed the other man, hitting at every chance he got.

Wide-open eyes that once were black now were covered with mist. Seaweed dangled from the broken temple, covering the eyelids with a greenish-blue bandage.
