His touch was soft, as if he were afraid I might disappear if he touched me. “You look beautiful tonight,” he said. “Thank you for coming over for dinner.” I smiled as I stepped closer to him. “The food was wonderful. But I’m still pretty excited to try out your world famous Ramen noodles one of these days.” Gabe chuckled and then leaned in, surprising me with a kiss. The passion in the air ignited instantly as we embraced in front of the sunset. The island air blew through my hair, carrying with it the scent of saltwater and warm sand. It was a picture perfect moment; one that I never saw myself actually experiencing. This island kiss was the most romantic kiss of my life.

Upon finally doing so, the world felt hazy, save for her face. She smiled up at him, obviously enjoying his bewilderment. “I know. It's a surprise, right? Kissing someone like me. Consider it a bonus for all your hard work tonight.” She jokingly stuffed ten dollars into his shirt pocket. “Your tip. Thanks again, handsome. Enjoy your shift!” Fidelis stood in shock, watching her stroll away, utterly puzzled by the whole encounter. Next to him, Brown's eyes were wide, his hand covering his mouth in astonishment. After a lengthy pause, he stammered, “Mr. Fidelis… you… you kissed a girl…”

I was in absolute state of panic. “Witches in our family have an ability bind the man they choose with a kiss. The first person that you kiss having a strong feeling will forever become your true love. Isn't that wonderful? It happened to your Grandpa and me, your mother and father, and now you… Just be careful who will receive your first kiss, since you will not get rid of him for the rest of your life!” Grandma burst out laughing.

Before I can let out a yelp of protest, he presses his lips to the back of my hand and staring deep into my eyes, he says, “You humble me, Gigi.” I open my mouth and close it again. I am giddy with euphoria and dizzy with love for this endearing boy standing in front of me. I wonder what he sees when he looks at me.

"Sure, captain." Coward Chase happily handed me to Ethan the moment he asked no ordered him to leave the dancefloor. The music had changed to a slow one. I placed my hand on Ethan's shoulder and believe me when he placed his hand on my waist, the spark returned. My thin layer of dress couldn't hide the feel of his hand on my skin. We moved slowly with the sound of music. Our eyes never broke the contact. I wanted to ask him, why did he kiss me on my cheek but choose not to. I was too afraid to speak something stupid and break this special moment.
