Panic and fear like I have never known clutch me. God, Fiona, hang in there. I am coming. Just as I take a step forward, Kieran clutches my arm. There are tears in his eyes and it is strange to watch a grown man, an Alpha as ferocious as him, break down. I have to remind myself that this is hard not only for me. Fiona is his only sister. “The fire is too huge,” He forces the words out like they pain him. “I have called for help, wait for the firemen Micah, even you can’t survive this.”

We both knew Tyler would risk his own life to save his father. Sirens wailed behind us. Firetrucks and ambulances barreled down the drive, firefighters leaping off before they stopped. They shouted orders to the staff. One of them jogged to me and Kellen. “Is there anyone else inside?!” “My best friend—” “My boyfriend—” Even now, I realized I couldn’t call Tyler my mate to humans. “And his father,” Kellen said. “He ran in to save him—” The firefighter nodded as his crew readied hoses. I didn’t register everything they were doing. All I was capable of was watching the front door and the flames devouring it, waiting in exactly what I wanted to avoid.

His mouth was fierce, demanding a response I gave willingly, desperately. He finally tore his mouth from mine, leaving me breathless and dizzy. The fire he set ablaze refuses to die down, it burns, and spreads to my very being. I want more of him, under the sheets, his delicious mouth all over my body. But for now, him setting a fire in me, bringing me to life again is enough. Icen is the man that I need, he can ruin me in more ways than one, and I wouldn't mind. Not at all.

RYKER When her father’s shrieks become louder, I snap my gaze to his figure. The fire is now spreading towards his neck, fast and relentless. Curling my hands into fists, I move forth and reach him in a hurry. Fucking shit! I grip his neck, my hands burning in the fire as I throw him aside and follow him. My eyes glance back at the body which is now turning to ashes, the fire refusing to die until he has turned to coal. There is no heartbeat, no signs of life in him.

I feel whole again as I let a small flame dance over my fingertips. I can’t resist. I run outside and create the largest fireball I’ve ever made and throw it straight into the stream causing steam to rise from the surface, I’m back baby. I put on a well fitting pale blue dress that looks like it is made of ice, the back is covered. Not because of the cold but because I want Scott to think I'm still weak., I don't need to worry about the cold anymore, not now that my flames are back.

Heart's Fire ( book two) The following morning, Bryan and I rolled out of the bed all thanks to Chad's excessive screaming. We rushed downstairs and met him donning a startled demeanor and looking straight to the front door. "Son, what's going on?". Bryan Inquired only to infer an elderly lady ambling through the front door with a suitcase in her hand. "Oh my goodness?" He falls short of words and withdrew a step backward to me. "Lisa, please under no circumstances, should you alter a World, because the person that just walked in, is none other than my godmother, so please, not a word". Fire begins flickering around her mouth as I take control of her mouth, her body, and her mind, flooding her with my love, pushing it into her as hard and fast as I thrust into her. I swallow her moans, and whimpers and cries, and when she comes, exploding around me, the bed lights on fire. “That’s right, my dragon, burn in the fire of our love,” I growl, not stopping until much, much later, long after we left the bed in ashes.
