Fire Force Chapters Novels & Stories

"It's a good thing Jacob is gullible. He believed you were in Manhattan even though you didn't return to your aunt's house. But did you shut up the Langham family's driver? Don't let them get a chance to attack you." "Take it easy, I always know what to do before moving forward." At the other end, Ursula let out a long sigh. "You're always playing with fire, Celine. Aren't you ever afraid of getting burned?" "I was already burnt before I even started this, Sula." Celine leaned back comfortably on the chair she was sitting on. Her eyes gazed at the road that seemed to be deserted. The driver who drove her chose to enter the freeway in order to quickly arrive at the place Celine wanted to go.

He is saying something to her, but she does not hear nor does she has the intention of removing the earphone “I’m saying that the chief wants to see you now” he yells frustratingly at her, forcefully removing her earphones. “You should have just said it gently, no need in using force” she hisses. “And you would have heard with how much you were bobbing your head to that music of yours, not that you have a great taste at music at that” he scoffs, handing her the files he was told to give her. “Just like how your name is not of a great taste too, and don’t fucking insult my taste in music, it is better than your taste in anything” she tells her, rolling her eyes at him.

As he lowered himself downwards, I took a deep breath. Then, all of a sudden, I felt white hot pain. It was so intense I was unaware of anything else in the world apart from the torturous burning. I couldn’t feel Thale’s body anymore. I couldn’t see anymore. I wanted to scream, but I was so utterly consumed by agony I forgot how. I wondered if I had died. I had no other explanation. My fears were confirmed as I felt my conscious slipping away. I ran towards it. I welcomed the nothingness. Nothingness meant no more pain.

I hold my arms to my sides and call to the flames. The flames seemingly turn in my direction, and I brace myself, preparing for the flames to hit me in the chest. The icy pain of the flames hits me in the chest. I close my eyes, trying to ignore the pain until the flames from the buildings begin to extinguish around me. I open my eyes and breathe in a sigh of relief. The fire is almost gone. I call out one last time for the flames to come to me, and they do. The remaining flames hit me in the chest with such force that it causes me to drop to my knees. I turn around, look at the fading figure, and offer her a smile.

Ernest said. Don looked at the fire — the November fire, the first fire of the tenth year's winter season, lit on the first evening that the room required it rather than the first evening that the calendar permitted it. The specific quality of the first fire: the room in its winter arrangement, the warmth that was not the warmth of maintained temperature but the warmth of the fire itself, the specific quality of a fire in a room that has been waiting for it. "The last chapter is not an essay," Don said. "It is addressed."

’ I speak to her, feeling a fire in my belly that has nothing to do with the fire I’m controlling. I walk to the door and try the handle. Of course, it’s locked. Just as I knew it would be. A locked door won’t stop me. I’ve practiced channelling the fire only to the locking mechanism, rather than the entire door. It’s just as effective and conserves so much more energy. I place my hand over the lock and unleash the fire, feeling it navigate the cracks, bolts, and metal. It’s where I want it and I force the heat to increase.

**Chapter Fifty-Three** Fire did not feel the same anymore. It wasn’t just heat. It wasn’t just power. It was memory. Rose didn’t fall through it this time. She *moved* through it. Like it recognized her. Like it was guiding her somewhere she had always been meant to return. The flames curled around her—not burning, not consuming—but *revealing*. And within them— She began to see. Not just fragments. Not just flashes. But something whole.

Stripes. Burning across my body like fire. The air itself seemed to change. The wolves hesitated. Just for a second. That was their mistake. I moved. Faster than before. Stronger. Unstoppable. I tore through them. No hesitation now. No strategy. Just dominance. One after another. They fell. Until only one remained. Celdor stepped forward. Finally. I tilted my head slightly, blood dripping from my jaw. “You should have stayed hidden.” He didn’t respond.

A chill ran through me as I stared at him in disbelief. Seeing the terror in my eyes, Tucker curled his lips into a knowing smile. Panic took over me, every fiber of my being screaming to push him away and run. But my body refused to cooperate. The fire inside me had barely dimmed, leaving my body limp and unresponsive. I grabbed his tie, my attention drawn to the flush creeping over his ears. "Can you take me home?" I asked. Reading my unspoken request, Tucker quietly began to remove my clothes. "Tucker… No…"
