CHASING MONSTERS
When she attacked, it was a storm unleashed, shards of ice slicing the air, freezing bark and soil alike.
I met her fury head-on.
Fire burst from my fur, rolling in waves across the frost. The snow hissed and melted, steam rising between us as flame clashed with ice. The forest shuddered under the pressure of it, a dance of opposites, a war between mates who were never meant to fight.
Her power hit me like knives, each shard cutting deep. But my flames burned through, driving her back, melting the frost from her path. We collided in a burst of smoke and light, the ground splintering beneath us.
