I command. I slide my hands down her body, my palms scorching against her skin. Every curve of her waist, every line of her thighs belongs to me. I’ve spent months hiding behind contracts and professional distances, treating her like a fragile glass doll. But the woman beneath me now isn't fragile. She is a warlord. She is the Fire.

None of my paintings made it which makes my heart sink a little, all my hard work is gone. I take the stuff out, and what is left of my art and load it in the trailer hooked up to my black Ford F150. "Make that two," I say, not leaving her gaze. A minute later he places the drinks in front of us, her hand immediately reaching out to bring it to her lips. "Katherine," she says after taking a slow sip, "but my friends call me Kat." "Adam, but everyone calls me Emilio." "I think I'll stick with Adam," she replies haughtily, daring me to tell her otherwise. I lean in closer to her, trailing her body with my eyes again. I can't stop looking at her legs. She notices, and again raises an eyebrow.

And here I am—just one human girl, caught in their clutches. And their king? What haven’t I heard about him? His cruelty, his ferocity in battle, the way he takes what he wants without hesitation or mercy. No one knows his name; they simply call him the barbarian king. The world simply knows that he is a Firefang wolf, a breed born of radiation, known for their volcanic bites and lightning combats.

He convulsed, writhing, twisting, dropping, flailing in the snow, trying desperately to put himself out. He didn’t get the chance. Before the flames swallowed him whole, Gigi was already looking at the next one. WHOOSH. Flames engulfed another warrior. Their bodies collapsed into the snow, screaming, flailing, twisting in agony, their fur burning away in seconds. The fire fed on them hungrily, climbing higher, stronger, faster. Soon warriors were running away, getting out of her destructive path, realizing they were fighting a losing battle. They disappeared into the forest with their tails between their legs.

“Their flames brought life during winter wars. They healed cursed bloodlines and burned armies to ash when threatened. They were very important and revered, even more than the alphas in most cases.” The thought of being more powerful than Rodney sounded quite appealing. I’d have been more excited if he wasn’t about to die which was why I needed to help him heal and then get my revenge. The entire chamber remained completely silent as they listened to elder Mara give more information on firehearts and pack life in the ancient times. The flames had calmed down but were still dancing around us. Everyone was staring at Rodney and I. Now we couldn’t even move out of the water because we were half

Cat fur started flying around since they were biting each other. In the end, Nathan held the new Persian cat in his arms. This cat belonged to Jessica initially, and its buttocks were burnt during a barbecue. It was abandoned since it was marred by a scar. Now, it was here with Hilda, and she named it 'Scorchy'.
