Fire

Fire

I said to him and he nodded at me. “Fire, blue fire works best for witches, it starts to burn them from the inside,” he said to me. “I’ve never used blue fire before, just green and red,” I said to him. “It works basically the same, but I’ll teach you the words. I’ve never used them, because I don’t want to feel the burning afterwards, you should really consider not doing it,” Bryan said to me. “If the option is there not to use it, I won’t. Last time wasn’t so nice,” I said to him and he laughed at me.

SPARKING THE FIRE

SPARKING THE FIRE

"It's a good thing Jacob is gullible. He believed you were in Manhattan even though you didn't return to your aunt's house. But did you shut up the Langham family's driver? Don't let them get a chance to attack you." "Take it easy, I always know what to do before moving forward." At the other end, Ursula let out a long sigh. "You're always playing with fire, Celine. Aren't you ever afraid of getting burned?" "I was already burnt before I even started this, Sula." Celine leaned back comfortably on the chair she was sitting on. Her eyes gazed at the road that seemed to be deserted. The driver who drove her chose to enter the freeway in order to quickly arrive at the place Celine wanted to go.

Fire's Determination

Fire's Determination

he hissed, bending his head closer. "Wrong move," I growled, shooting my hand up to grasp his wrist, channeling intense heat into his bones. "Now!" I yelled at my dad as I dropped the walls, forcing the last of my fire's reserves into the man's bloodstream. I let my own power surge into him at the same time, stealing what remained of his life while the fire literally cooked him from the inside.

THEIRS: BOUND TO THE ALPHA KINGS

THEIRS: BOUND TO THE ALPHA KINGS

“Let’s get back.I’ll make a few calls to get people out here because this isn’t just any old fire.” I frown up at his words, my sobs fading slowly. “What do you mean by that?” Rune’s face is hard, his eyes scanning the horizon as if searching for answers in the distance. “This fire wasn’t man made; no chemicals were used from what I can smell and it is not Dragon’s Breath either.” “Let’s get back in the jet before we discuss this. We have no idea if anyone is still here waiting for Reyna to arrive,” Malachi admonishes, taking me into his arms and walking toward the jet. “Safety first, then we can discuss the Elemental fire.”

J. Tarr, at it again! Another fantastic story that’s captivating from beginning to end! So beautifully written, as always. So excited for the Elemental Alphas stories, and maybe Rhys, Caelum, and Micah’s! Anything this author writes is 120% worth a read. As always, job well done author! :)

Rewrite the Apocalypse Dream

Rewrite the Apocalypse Dream

Before he could answer, the vehicle rounded a long curve on the icy highway, and the distant, dark silhouette of the Westridge overpass finally began to rise against the bright, frosty winter sky. Briggs looked over at Kailee, a faint, rare smile touching the corner of his mouth before his expression turned serious. "It's a solid strategy," he agreed, his deep voice carrying over the hum of the heater. "Wind feeds fire. If we time it right, your currents can spread my flames across a wider radius and raise the combustion temperature significantly."

I love this book! I have read other similar books and I like them for different reasons. But this one is more realistic in many ways. I love the family dynamics and the humor involved in it. Not many books infuse humor.

8-23-25 at 167 chapters. I normally don’t like reading in progress books but this one is super good. Keeps you engaged with dialogue, representing multiple characters, and doesn’t over describe scenes. Well written. Looking forward to consistent updates and following Joanna’s story with her team!

burn between us

burn between us

When it was done she was quiet for a moment. "The fire extinguisher," she said. "Yes," Elian said. "That was the right instinct," she said. "Not the window. The fire extinguisher." "I know," Elian said. "Because the right thing was to stay," she said. "Even when staying was dangerous. The instinct was right." "Yes," Elian said. She looked at Dante. "You understood that," she said. "When you saw him." "Yes," Dante said. "Immediately." She nodded once — the same nod as Elian's, the same gene, the same specific movement of someone making a decision inside themselves.

The Omega and Her Three Wolves

The Omega and Her Three Wolves

Zach POV Smoke billowed out from the forest in thick black clouds. That wasn’t natural. I growled as I loped into the forest, the handful of warriors from Joe’s pack on my heels. Figures that our luck would die right on the cusp of a blizzard. We’d been worried about forest fires for months and it was only when we were getting our first snow that it started. I shifted to human form as we reached the fire. A large patch of ferns were already blazing, belching smoke and sparks into the air. Two redwoods had caught fire, the flames licking higher over the bark.

Mated To The Lycan King Who Can’t Let Go

Mated To The Lycan King Who Can’t Let Go

His fur vanished, bones snapped into place, and in seconds he stood before us — pale, shaken, breathing hard. "So?" Levi demanded. "How bad is it? Huge fire?" Kyle swallowed. "No. It's not a forest fire. It's... controlled." Evan frowned. "Controlled? Like... by who?" "The people of Red Fang," Kyle said. "They built a stake. And... an altar. The fire is intentional." My stomach turned. A stake? In my old pack? In a kingdom where witch-burning died out a thousand years ago? "Out with it already," I snapped. "What's on the stake?"

Fueling the fire

Fueling the fire

I am unable to look away, although I really don’t want to see what happens either. Her nostrils flare, and an inferno of red fire shoots out of her mouth. A blood curdling scream erupts from my father upon impact, causing a shiver to run down my body. Our father was many things – but he was no pussy. For him to be screaming like that, it must be absolutely excruciating.
