Lisa's POV I gathered whatever courage was left in me and turned around. As expected, the monster was already looking down at me. Our eyes collided and for a second, it felt like my entire body was swallowed by flames. That look in his eyes, it was something else. I swear I felt it rather than just saw it. Using the branch as a sword, he enveloped it with the sword aura and sliced the fireball into two. In the meantime, the branch in Kayson’s hand turned into ashes instantly.
