Suddenly, Duncan emerged from the corner. "Are you ready?" Saxon asked coldly. Duncan murmured, emotionless, "Ready whenever." "Good!" Saxon let out a chilling laugh, a mix of satisfaction and anticipation. Duncan's eyes remained cold and unchanging as he said, "Have you thought this through?" "Hmph, what's there to think about?" Saxon sneered. Duncan didn't respond but a hint of mockery briefly appeared on his lips before fading away, disappearing into thin air. When pushed to the limit, fighting for survival, how many people could remain lucky, breaking the enemy with one furious attack?

Her breath became heavy as the heat of his finger sent shivers from her whole system. “Drake. . . stop it!” Emily hissed in a loud-pitched tone. “Don’t play fire with me; it’s not funny.” Drake continued what he was doing. He drew circles from Emily’s back, teasing her even more. “I want to play fire, stray,” he said with his deep, cold, and baritone voice. “I want you in my top, grinding your sex in my erection while singing my name,” he whispered as he pressed his erection from Emily.

Duncan was danger in the form of a male, and if Samuel was so agitated by him, then I definitely would be trying my hardest to steer clear of such a person. He'll never reach me in time. He yells and I smile. Whatever he says, it's too late. I dive. The wind slides over my flesh and the burning sensation takes hold of me again. **Beatrice POV** I could see the emotions brimming in Duncan's eyes. My instincts screamed at me, warning me of the potential dangers lurking in the private discussion alpha Duncan requested. It felt like stepping into a lion's den, where vulnerabilities and secrets could be exposed. I had to be cautious, redirecting the conversation away from dangerous territory. I could also sense the silent war brewing beneath the surface, the unspoken challenge between Alpha Duncan and Falon. Duncan saw Falon as a potential threat, mistaking him for my mate. But I knew the truth, and I had my reasons for keeping our true relationship concealed.

He says. Jessica makes a hmm sound, “But I remember her specifically saying we fighters know what type of risks we take, or something along those lines. I don’t think I heard wrong. I’m pretty sure I heard her say she was a firefighter.” Jessica goes deep into thought trying to recall the conversation again. She knew she was not mistaken. Damon shrugs his shoulders. “Well, that is none of my business what she does for work. tell me how my baby boys are today?” Damon asks.

Duncan's voice remained calm but firm. "If that's the case, then why bother stopping us from leaving?" Chase asked, seeing that Red Phoenix members were still blocking their way. At that moment, a flicker of fire passed through Duncan's eyes. "Step aside!" he commanded. Reluctantly, the Red Phoenix members moved out of the way. Chase remained alert, knowing something was off. His instincts told him that this Duncan was not the same Duncan he had met before. Without showing his concern, Chase continued acting like any other independent cultivator and quietly left the area.

Starting to get unsure of how safe I thought here would be instead of my house back. “You are a breeder. Do you know what a breeder is?” His voice is Calm but I know it is false. Not because he is a terrible actor but because he was showing how pisssd he was just with his eyes. I couldn't imagine how an act, a gesture written with kindness all over it could be taken so wrongly. “I do, I—” He raised his hand to stop me from talking. I obeyed it in the beat.
