The clouds rumbled in the sky, the wind getting colder every second as the smell of rain lingered in the air. As usual, Duncan didn't skip his drink section which he always had at night—downing himself with alcohol always helped him sleep well for some reason. He gulped what was left in his glass before heading into his room, closing his balcony glass door shut. He had been home for 3 hours now and the house seemed empty—a bit too empty. He picked up his phone, turning on the screen to check the time flashing on his screen; 11:15pm.
