Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

Cordelia smiled at her, pulling her back from her thoughts. “Can I take a photo?” “Oh, go ahead!” Janine snapped back to herself and smiled gently. “Thank you!” “Oh.” Janine could not help wanting to chat with the girl. “Do you know what the painting is?” “Firefly,” Cordelia blurted, but she frowned. “But…” The firefly looked kind of strange. It had two sets of wings. “Heh, but I don’t get it.” She smiled. “This is probably an artist’s creativity.”

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

The Luna's Law

The Luna's Law

I looked up, hoping to see the light that would lead me to salvation, but not even a ray of sunlight penetrated the tarry coating. I started to choke, even though I knew I wasn't underwater at all but in a musty, cold, and dark cell somewhere in an unknown place. My body was so infected with the drug that it didn't recognize reality as reality. When I started to lose consciousness and gasp for breath, I noticed two fireflies coming towards me, whispering something along the way. I focused on their intense azure glow, which I had not noticed when these fireflies turned into eyes full of madness, venom, and violence. "Hello, old friend."

Under The Eclipse: The Blood Moon

Under The Eclipse: The Blood Moon

And the whispers… could it be that those were the ‘fate’ trying to show me? “I must’ve seen a firefly last night,” I admitted, and Therese stared at me in confusion. “You did? Are you sure?” “Yes.” I was reluctant. I didn’t know if I could trust them. “It was a firefly.” “Azen’s fireflies can appear for different reasons, depending on the situation. So what did the firefly show you?” “I don’t know.” I shook my head and bit the insides of my mouth. “You told me you went out to get some fresh air, and suddenly you came back with a ripped glove and blood on your arm. Surely, it had something to do with that firefly you saw,” Harvey pointed out, looking suspicious. “What did it show you?”

Scent of Desire

Scent of Desire

I couldn’t understand why that name triggered him so much. I somehow managed to mumble, ignoring the firm grip of his fingers, “What do you wanna know exactly?” Keir’s infuriated voice muttered impatiently, “Who is Firefly? Is that you? Did we meet before? Why do you keep coming into my nightmares? Why the hell don't you let me sleep every night? What have I-” “Keir! Calm down!” I mumbled in a scared tone, “I-I saw a firefly behind you.”

The Billionaire's Hidden Son

After eating, she allowed them to play video games before she sent them upstairs to their room. “Once upon a time, in a land where stars were made of candy and clouds tasted like cotton candy,” Tasha started reading to the boys later. “There lived a little firefly named Flicker. Flicker loved to play hide-and-seek with the moon, but he was always the first to be found. His light was so bright, it lit up the entire night sky!

Night Flower

Night Flower

I had been running full suppression for too long on too little sleep and somewhere in the last hour it had developed a leak I hadn't noticed until the evidence sat outside the broken board making its quiet professional sound. Silver Dawn field investigators did not get caught by slipping. The knowledge arrived with the footsteps, flat and factual. The Switch costs what it costs and I had not accounted correctly and now I had four seconds. Three seconds. I pulled the Switch off entirely. Everything came back in at once, the way it always did when full suppression released, scent and warmth and the full broadcast of a living body flooding back into the space where nothing had been. Then I move

My Fiery Finish

My Fiery Finish

“Boom!” The violent jolt blacked out my vision for a moment, my organs feeling as if they’d shifted inside me. Yet through the dust, a surge of grim satisfaction coursed through me when I saw their terrified faces. Just as I steadied the car and prepared for the next strike, a deafening roar filled the air. The massive sound of a helicopter drew near, and through the loudspeakers above came the team manager’s voice. “Found them! Fire brigade! Put out the fire!”

The Last Firework

The Last Firework

On the dining table, beside Adrian's neat stack of vinyl proofs and tour passes, Lily's marked-up lyrics were spread out in pink highlighter. My lyrics. The Last Firework, with hearts drawn around the chorus and little notes in the margin. Make this softer. Ask A if I can sing this line alone. I thought of the yellow lamp I had once bought at a flea market because it looked like something from my mother's old apartment. Adrian had taken one look at it and said, "Please don't bring that cheap-looking thing into my house." Now Lily's things were everywhere, and somehow his house had survived. I forced myself into the office.

Forever Bound

Valle didn’t seem affected by the formula at all; all he did was sneeze loudly, breaking the tense silence, and then rushed over to help Alexa. flashback over Now, disappointment mixed with confusion filled Leonard's mind as his anger continued to build. Suddenly, he couldn’t hold back anymore. With a loud roar of frustration, he swung his arm across the nearest countertop. Beakers, papers, and all sorts of instruments went flying, crashing to the floor with a loud bang as glass shattered everywhere. His anger spilled out, just like his shattered dreams.

(The reason why she was supervising even after the cleaner had taken care of the room. Mr and Mrs Matthews, Brian, Henry and Laurel had their suites in different parts of the mansion. To Vanessa, Brian had the most beautiful suite. It looked like an apartment on its own. The bedroom was very big, filled with expensive furniture and paintings. A small portion of the room was used for the living area. It was beautifully decorated with a centre table. There was also a workspace, an adjoined bathroom and walk-in closet. Brain's room had glass windows which were bulletproof and operated with the touch of a button. The room also had an adjoined outdoor space which consisted of Brian's pool, outdoo

Usually I only read fantasy book about werewolves, but I read this description and was drawn is. I'm so glad I read this. I've already recommended this to a few friends. You have some talent an I can't wait to read more of your work. You've inspired me to try to write something other than a fantasy.
