“How did we get out of that alive?” Pete asked, no one in particular as the group approached the private jets. “Man, I'm just happy no one got hurt,” Ryan replied, Sofia's hand in his as they walked across the tarmac. “So we have three jets,” Pete said, announcing the obvious. “I'm flying with Rico,” he added. “Stephanie, Tanya, you both take the rental jet, Sofia, and I have something to take care of here. Then we'd catch up to you guys in LA.”

A soldier suddenly sprouted two wings on his body, he was flying in the sky, so he dodged. The test ended, only a few people remained. Bella Risa looked at the young man who was probably in his twenties, his handsome face retracting his wings. With a little praise, she couldn't help but blurt out: "He's both handsome and very good." Raph Conrad glanced at the woman, eyes glazed over at the other man. For some reason, there was some discomfort in his heart, and his tone was more harsh: "A group of ten people, but only a few people passed. Everyone, what kind of practice is this?”

Lucas asked and he poked Evan’s chubby cheek, making him giggle. “Nothing, just a walk in the park, he was awake, so I took him along.” Austin replied, while removing his coat. “Lu!” Evan exclaimed in Lucas’s arms, as he slapped a maple leaf on his forehead, probably too excited to show him. “Oh, so you brought a gift for me.” The raven haired retrieved the beautifully shaded leaf, and his eyes widened to see how the leaf had all three colours, green, ochre and red in an extraordinary blend.

Spitfire had no idea what he was actually planning and it was better that way. "Auras don't weigh anything, you big idiot." Spitfire snarled through gritted teeth. The wings were starting to flicker. They were getting farther and farther from the bridge. "I can't let go of you to snatch any of these demons who are falling past us." Spitfire had pulled them out of the range of where the demons who were still tumbling off the bridge were falling. Not one of them had wings or any other power that Spitfire could steal to help them out of this predicament. The no-fur was sweating, straining to keep the wings whole and get them back to safety.

They weren’t the creatures we had imagined. Small winged insects hovered in front of us, each one about the size of a large coin. Their wings were a deep charcoal color that swallowed most of the light, and their slender bodies were coated in soft grey fuzz that shimmered faintly when they moved. Thin silver patterns ran along their wings, glowing softly whenever they fluttered. They looked strange—almost eerie—but there was something delicate about them too, like tiny spirits that belonged to the night. Unsettling, yet oddly beautiful at the same time.

Since Adrian was a demon, he didn't need anything to be able to see in the dark. Shaking her head, Fin'esia stepped forward. She pushed her wings out on her back. "rutilans mediocris alis. (glowing fairy wings.)" Fin'esia chanted in a low voice. Her beautiful pink butterfly wings started glowing like a star in the dark.

The plan began and the Scions dispersed. With no one on his back anymore, Vayu could unleash the true prominence of his flames. His firebird form turned into full - fledged phoenix, having nine long rainbow tail feathers that each were flames of different colors. The burning wings flapped off fiery plumes to the Grand Serpent's barrier and his serpentine silver eyes were locked on him.

She didn't have to wait for very long though before it passed again; and this time, she caught a proper view. The first thing Megan saw was a pair of wings. They were long; so long in fact that they could easily be the length of a semi-truck. They were also slender, streamlined enough for presumably a smooth glide through the intense winds at the mountain top. Coming closer to the grounds, she saw that the wings sparkled in the sun like pieces of silver; several rainbow colours dancing off their edges whenever they caught the light properly.

A shriek came out of her mouth which made Anna look behind to find Aura falling down. "Aura!" Anna panicked and screamed taking her name and jumped off without thinking of the consequence. Suddenly she felt a burning sensation on her back and soon two jet-black wings came out of her back. Each feather has the top part jet black with the hairs or fibers sticking out of the sides, while the end of the edge itself is blood red. Flipping the wings in the air she flies down and catches Aura before she falls into the river of fire.

Surrounded by the bright and soft golden light, there were 48 beams of sharp and colorful light. Slowly, they grew larger and larger. They were enlarged to the original size of the wings. It was the embryonic form of twenty-four pairs of multicolored wings. Each wing had a different color. They were different from a dazzling golden color, but they emitted a golden color all over. When 48 strange colorful golden lights bloomed like lotus flowers, each wing was like a petal, revolving around Xiang Zeyu. Everyone stared fixedly at Xiang Zeyu, staring at the twenty-four pairs of petal-like wings.
