First Woman Preacher In The Bible Kjv Novels & Stories

Another verse came to her mind 2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Becky humbled herself and called upon the host of heaven to deliver her and the children working with her from this slavery. With that, she resolved that her predicament would be dealt with divinely. She had faith that it would still be over. Nevertheless, she still had to go to work. Hoping that God will intervene and prevent her from perpetrating sin.

She muttered, “That adamant Jewish man was killed by his clans for disrupting into their peace, and that’s ought to be our action to all these men we see on those platforms who want to enforce their laws and religion on the people who look up to them” Ken shook his head, completely shattered at her mindset ... “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish ...” he tried to quote a scripture but she interrupted. “To them that perish foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God ... Chapter One of First Corinthians verse eighteen” she completed the verse for him. Ken was surprised, stepping on the brakes hardly as he stared at her in shock ... “How did you know that?” h

She hurries and looks away, then finds a seat on the opposite side of the room. Strange, but I don't overthink it. Ellie enters and does the same thing. Relieved, I settle in my seat, but Paige enters. After panning the crowd, she finds me and sits next to me. "Good morning, Paige." "Morning, Ajay." Katrina greets, "Good morning, women of God. Please turn to Proverbs 17. Verse one reads, Better is a dry morsel with quietness than a house full of feasting with hatred."

"The woman you gave me was the one who ate the fruit first and she was the one who made me eat it in the first place" This accusation made the female to raise her head in shock. Her mouth opened and closed repeatedly but she could not say anything. Adam was out of breath by the time he was done speaking and just like the other times, God did not speak immediately. After a few minutes of pure silence, His voice echoed again. "Woman". He said. The female faced heaven in fear on the verge of tears. "What have you done? Where you not present when I gave you an order not to eat of that fruit?"

“I can’t imagine anything more unbelievable than this conversation, but I’m listening.” “I already told you the story of how I was able to escape from Ahasuerus’s decree that I be killed and how I raised you as Adar until you were of age to resume the throne of this kingdom. What I didn’t tell you was that the women who came to our courtyard talking about women’s rights was a seer of the future. Somehow her mind could travel through time and she heard how the priests and rabbis of the future had distorted the truth of what happened at that party with King Ahasuerus, why I refused to dance naked for his friends, how I treated my maidens and respected my friends. She also told me of all the li

Pastor Alozie only sighed while a flying demon with pointed ears flew between him and the goddess with a loud cackle. “You are free to do whatever you want to do after you successfully do it to Jesus Christ…” Upon hearing the name ‘Jesus,’ she felt as if someone splashed hot water on her face. When she’d recovered, she regained her balance and ran atop the corpses towards the Pastor who had begun to recite several portions of the Holy Bible with all his strength. In a terrible rage, she flung the Bible from Pastor Alozie’s right hand and grabbed his neck with both hands. Pastor Alozie didn’t seem worried, he simply grabbed hers and soon they both struggled to balance atop a female corpse. Th

I see,” I said, feigning understanding. “So, now, having and enjoying sex makes a girl a slut.” “That’s not what I meant,” Kaylee defended quickly, suddenly self-conscious; something I figured had to do with that whole feminism parade she had going on a few months ago. “Then what do you mean?” “Well that… that uh…” But it was another voice that helped her out – Hailey Johnson, the leader of the school's church group. “No one is implying anything here, Stephanie. But according to the Bible, sexual immorality is something detestable to the Lord. And it is not too late for all who’ve been misled towards such path to change.” For someone who wasn’t implying anything, she sure implied a lo

She was feeling that life was a longing spirit that had its name written all over the forehead of mankind and waiting patiently for the day its services will be demanded and its wages will be collected. She glanced up, hearing the soft voice of James Blackwheel piece the air as he tried to apologise and tell her that he was sorry. She sprang on her feet and moved away from the preacher. The preacher also stopped while observing her movements and wondering if his words had left a deep impact in her soul that was worth considering. "Do not turn your heart away from a man who seeks repentance," the preacher continued. "He has found favour in the eyes of God, Maria! Do not let him consider his o

"The first book of Corinthians, chapter two and verses four to five is one of my favorite Bible verses for this exact reason! Verse four says, 'And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,' while verse five concludes by adding, 'That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.' Actually the fifth verse is my favorite! As we put our faith not in man, their philosophies, or anything like that, but in the power of God, we will receive our answers! Especially in the case of Joseph Smith being a prophet or not. Many men say bad things about him, but the real question should be, what doe

They were made-up facts that those people tried to force up to believe in. Another fact was something Sully told me without ever picking up a religious book. “Religion does not say that a woman cannot be a leader. There is nothing of that sorts in religion. But the High Priest, our father and every religious man in this kingdom believe that women cannot be leaders because their religion forbids it, when that is not the case. You read so many religious texts, Selina. Tell me. Have you ever found a line, a passage, or anything that says this? Have you?”
