The Alpha and The Outcast

The Alpha and The Outcast

Lily, he declared within him, with unwavering conviction, "I will stand by your side, not Jake's. I will protect you, always." Glenn gestured to Liza, signalling her to join him, and the two exited the cabin. Blake's eyes scanned the interior, his senses heightened. The collar clasped around his neck carried a distinct scent, evoking memories of the woman he held deep in his heart. Determination etched on his face, he closed his eyes momentarily, focusing his thoughts. With his left hand, he explored his dislocated shoulder. Time was of the essence—he needed to take action. Seating himself on the floor beside the chair to his right, he positioned its backrest to face him. Ensuring its stabil

It was angry purple and blue but there was some yellowing. As soon as it was all off, I was able to move my arms a little. They were extremely sore and stiff but it was nice to adjust their positioning a little. Alec leaned over and grabbed something off the floor. “Here, you can wear this.” Slipping each arm in, he helped me pull it over my head. “How are your shoulders feeling?”

I have been in absolutely in love with this book since the beginning. I have enjoyed how the story has continued to develop beyond the siblings and their mates, but to another level of complexity within the familial ties. Amazing writing, well developed characters, not your typical werewolf story.

Could not put this book down on the first read. I am now reading all three a second time. Love the story line. Kris and Alec are badass characters and love their chemistry. Would love another book with the original characters, but maybe some chapters with POV from Jacob and Sherry or Emmy and Jasper

Catching the Moon (Chasing the Moon Book 2)

His hand that consequently looked really bad. “You know you can’t do the legal fights or teach if your hands messed up.” She told him. “I needed it.” He said simply. She sighed and shook her head. He looked down at the ice pack she had and asked her where that had come from. She’d ordered a few of them after the wreck. She needed the ice so much she wanted something to put it in besides just a ziplock or something. “It’s mine, for my knee and shoulder.” She answered. He frowned up at her then.

The Desperate Lycan King Wants Me

The Desperate Lycan King Wants Me

I gave him a dirty look and said to the Doctor, "Damn, I didn't know his face was made of metal." "Oh, that's it? So you smacked someone in the face?" The Doctor tried to put an ointment on my knuckles and told me, "Avoid doing things that hurt, make you swell up, or make you feel uncomfortable. Ice. Use an ice pack or an ice slush bath right away for 15 to 20 minutes, and do this every two to three hours while you're awake." I give a soft chuckle, "Thanks, Doc!" "You're welcome."

Destined But Torn

Destined But Torn

Even though it doesn’t hurt that much I still feel the need to protect it. Stopping at the kitchen I grab an ice pack from the freezer placing it on my shoulder. Almost instantly the little pain I had disappeared. I sat on the counter And watched as pack members came in. They seem happy all the time, laughing and joking with each other. Sending subtle nods and waves in my direction. None of them actually stopped to have a conversation with me. More than likely because they see me training attire with an ice pack to my shoulder. Knowing I’m probably not in the mood for conversation.

Too Big to Fit.

Too Big to Fit.

Just watching me with that unbearable softness he’d stood up with earlier. It made my throat tighten instantly. I let go of his hand and picked up my bag. Only then did his gaze shift to his hand, like he was just realizing I’d done something. “You shouldn’t use it too much,” I said quietly, slinging my bag over my shoulder. “And when you get home, use an ice pack.” He didn’t respond, just pushed to a sitting position as I stood. “Keep it on all night if possible,” I added. “Or you won’t be able to use it properly tomorrow.”

This book was refreshing . It is emotional and revealed the depth of tje author's intuition. The play of characters is subtle, not the usual millionaires or bad boy book. It kept me reading day and night.... now all we need is the end not a drawn out soap. It will keep you on the edge.

Mafia's Lost Princess

Mafia's Lost Princess

What matters now is that I need to…" Damon suddenly stopped talking and reached into his pocket to pull out his phone. He picked up the phone and walked towards the window, where he spoke in hushed tones. I turned back to the coffee table. On the table was the plastic bag that contained the ointment and medicine the doctor had left for me. Suddenly, there was a dull throb of pain in my shoulder. I reached for the bag and searched its contents for the ointment. After I found it, I squeezed out a small amount and used it to massage my aching shoulder. My eyes went back to Damon.

The Girl He Shouldn't Desire: His Best Friend's Daughter

The Girl He Shouldn't Desire: His Best Friend's Daughter

I drew a sharp breath at the feel of ice on my sore skin, and my lashes fluttered. “It would ease the pain,” he said calmly. I nodded, and after a while, I relaxed against the cold, and the soreness reduced. A few minutes passed, and he moved my wrist with gentle exercises that helped ease the pain and stiffness. He did this for another three minutes before letting the hand go and taking the ice away from my wrist. He opened the box on the counter and pulled out a sachet of Paracetamol. He handed me two tablets and water. I took it, and without asking questions, I drank the medicine before dropping the glass of water.

He leaned over the back of the couch and stole my tray. "Now, you can either take a bath or I can give you some ice packs for the actual injury sites. See if that helps with the swelling," he said, his back to the majority of the room. "Well, Tali's not here to help with the bath, so I guess ice packs." I pushed the fabric of my sundress back down my legs. I didn't want the ice packs against my skin, but I also didn't want too many layers between the packs and my flesh. They needed to help me, not just cool me down.
