The Final Medical Bill

The Final Medical Bill

The books on the shelves burst open, their pages unspooling into ribbons of text that whipped through the cabin. "WARNING: NARRATIVE_UNJUSTIFIED" the plane's computer shrieked. "APPROACHING_THE_BOTTOM_MARGIN." Through the windows the starry sky turned white like a piece of paper rushing up to meet the plane. The skyscrapers of Manhattan lost their shape flattening into bar codes. Elara unbuckled her harness, the sheer force of the descent lifting her body out of the seat. She floated through the storm of loose text sheets, her hand reaching out to grab the iron cockpit door handle.

THE GIRL WHO LOVES SUNSET

THE GIRL WHO LOVES SUNSET

Ava said softly, surprising herself. He regarded her with soft, intent eyes. “I’m glad too.” The loudspeaker crackled. "Flight 294 to San Francisco is now boarding." A wave of relief washed over the passengers. Ava stood, her hand clutched around the handle of her suitcase. Her heart quivered in her chest, and the fear and excitement tangled together. Ethan stepped beside her. “Ready?” She swallowed. “As I'll ever be.” They walked toward the boarding lane. Ava felt small and brave at the same time. She wasn't alone. She had no idea where this journey would take her, but she wasn't stepping into it empty-handed.

Next, she knew, she was unbuttoning his shirt and he was zipping down her gown. He paused in the middle, "...are...you sure about this?" "I don't know but I don't want to think about it either," "Same here," He kissed her going the rest of the way down her gown and carried her in his arms to her bedroom with his hands on her back. **** The pilot announced the landing of the flight, flight 12B and the passengers walked out of the airplane after it had landed finish. The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

{~~Avery Sterling~~} The flight wasn’t bad at all, a smooth ride that gave me plenty of time to think and prepare for the days ahead. I spent most of the flight reading, trying to immerse myself in a book to keep my mind from wandering too far into worry. Every now and then, I’d glance out the window, watching the clouds shift and the landscape beneath me change from small dots of houses to vast stretches of wilderness. It was strange, being so far from home, but I knew this trip was important.

The man is so cruel and mean. I really don't understand Avery. She seems like an intelligent person but she is a pushover unfortunately. I'll keep reading though, hoping she becomes fierce and kicks his ass.

Here to correct a review I mistakenly left for a different book with a similar premise. As far as THIS novel, the author really does a great job writing in a way that makes you feel like you're there. The FL is pathetic at times, but likeable as hell. The ML though? Pathetic is an understatement lol

The Night My Boss Owned Me

The Night My Boss Owned Me

Rowan (continued) This was the worst flight ever. Not that I didn’t have a great flight crew but I had a damn horny woman trying to convince me to fuck her because as she said it, ‘the marriage doesn’t count above ten thousand feet.’ So, I ended up slipping a relaxing pill in her drink so she slept the entire flight. She eagerly took the pill thinking it was ecstasy. NO, just a pill to help with flight anxiety.

A Secret Affair With My Best Friend's Uncle

A Secret Affair With My Best Friend's Uncle

Cassandra's POV ***Five Years Later*** “Good afternoon, passengers. This is a boarding announcement for Flight 247 to London Heathrow. We kindly invite passengers traveling in Business Class and those requiring special assistance to proceed to Gate 18 for priority boarding.” The announcement blasted through the airport speakers as I made my way through the crowd, weaving past rushing travelers and rolling suitcases. I looked around the bustling terminal, and a slow, knowing smirk tugged at my lips. “It’s good to be back,” I murmured under my breath, my gaze sweeping the vast space as memories resurfaced. Five years ago, I had stormed through this very airport in desperation, running away, tr

A Forbidden Affair with the Toxic Billionaire

A Forbidden Affair with the Toxic Billionaire

The flight becomes more than a mode of transportation; it transforms into a chapter of our journey, marked by the shared experience of flying in opulence. The view from the first-class window is nothing short of breathtaking. The world below becomes a patchwork of landscapes, each passing moment a reminder of the vastness and diversity of our planet. Jim and I engage in conversations, sharing dreams, memories, and the sheer joy of being together. As the airplane soars through the skies, I can't help but feel a profound sense of gratitude. The unexpected upgrade becomes a metaphor for the twists and turns of life, moments of unexpected indulgence that add color to our shared narrative. As we

The night was cold as they moved through the silent city streets, their breaths visible in the frosty air. Ashley clutched the new passport tightly in her hand, the weight of it grounding her in the moment. This small booklet represented more than just a new identity—it was their lifeline, the key to a future free from the shadows of their past.

someone asked. I was in so much pain that I couldn't stand. I remained sprawled on the floor as I forced out, "I'm Noelle Grant. Your company's name is a combination of my and Lysander's names. You can check my passport and identification if you don't believe me. I have proof!" The men exchanged looks. The leader, Ray, glared at me as he clutched his injured head. "Your passport and identification have already been destroyed. I'll get your phone now—you'd better not be lying, or I'll feed you to the sharks!"

The Path of No Return

The Path of No Return

He didn't want to admit that I was innocent when it came to Mom's death. I followed him back to the Linnus residence and watched as he stumbled over to my room. He picked up the box and smashed it against the ground. My diary fell out of the box. He picked it up. The first entry was of the day Mom died. I had thought long and hard about who Mom could've been speaking to over the phone. When I heard Yannis' voice today, I suddenly recognized it as the same voice that day. I knew now that Mom had planned to run away with Yannis. She wanted to bring me along.
