The man said in a rush. “Daniel, this is Cordelia Blackwell, she's helping Sheila. Now, there's a coffin in my trunk. Get it and follow me to the back of the mansion.” I wasn't sure what happened, but Daniel and Cadell both stared at each other, a silent conversation was happening between them. And I remembered reading about the mind link between pack members. Daniel's eyes widened before drifting towards me and bowing his head slightly. “It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Blackwell. My name is Daniel Braxton, the Beta of the pack.”

Michael lowly admitted. “What do you mean she’s in the hospital? What the fuck happened? Tell me which hospital you are at.” “We’re at Methodist South.” “I’m on my way now. I should get there in a little under an hour with traffic. What happened, Michael?” “We were at the Caldwell Farm, and we were examining horses. After we were done, we decided to take a ride, and Onyx bucked her off.” “Wait a fucking minute. You let her ride Onyx of all horses? What the fuck were you thinking?! Seriously, how fucking irresponsible can you be?!” I shouted into the phone.

I pressed my lips together and shook my head at the situation before turning and leaving the farmhouse to go talk with dad and Ivy. I walked out to the stables to check if they were there or if they were out already checking cattle and fences. As I got closer to the stables, I heard them talking while the horses made noise. I walked in to see what they were up to and to ask dad some questions. Ivy was saddling Tucker next to his stall and dad was saddling his horse, Buster. “What are you two up to?” I asked. “Getting ready to go check cattle and fences. A fox got into the coop last night and killed four of the hens,” dad told me.

Bailey ended up riding with Jaxon and Parker again as Gavin and Wyatt cleaned up their camp and checked for signs of pursuit. With Jaxon driving-to keep him out of trouble, Parker had explained with a grin-she ended up seated in the back with the giant. Perfect, because she brimmed with questions, and now that the wolf was out of the bag, so to speak, she hoped he'd answer them. "What's a pack?" Parker's brows lifted. "Jumping right into it, are you? Fair enough. I guess there's no hiding anymore what we are. A pack is what we call a group of Lycans who live together under the rule of an alpha."

She nodded. "Don't worry, everything is sterilized. We get a new shipment of almost every tangible thing in this room once a month, you know, as this is an interactive exhibit. Although, not a lot of people find their way into this room." She explained, walking towards me. As my hand came into contact with the cold material of one of the leather objects, I took it off the rack to further examine. "These are floggers. They're used during something called impact play where the dominant whips their submissive with the lashes." She chimed, running her fingers through the lashes of the flogger made out of rope.

Eventually, they would need the roads to make patrols. Vultures flew overhead cawing. He followed their path with his eyes. They'd come from a nest by the docks. He was surprised by the number of animals he had seen. With the radiation, he thought nothing would live up here. He'd checked in with Ellie describing each animal he saw and together they looked them up. So far he'd seen a rabbit, a cat, a fox, and a crested lizard of some sort. Tom wove his way on the crumbling sidewalk until he reached the restaurant that was their meeting place.

They're fighting tooth and nail to ensure they outdo each other. More troupes keep trooping in in support of both Packs and before long, it's a full blown war. Things are taking a wrong turn as properties have started getting destroyed and since Blue moon Pack is rich in domestic animals keeping where they rear poultry such as chicken, turkey, geese, livestock such as cows, goats, pigs and all sorts of income bringing domestic animals. The poultry provide eggs and white meat which they supply to other Packs where as the cows and goats provide milk and meat for their use and supply to other Packs.

"Yeah. Let's move on from that subject. What's your wildest dreams?" I thought for a moment, "Like actual dreams when I'm sleeping, or like what I want for my future type things?" He shrugged, "Both." "Let's see, when I was younger, I had this dream that cows were coming out of the lake and would raid my family's cottage and eat all the people. So now I'm afraid of cows, and I'm totally not a vegetarian." Connor laughed a bit loudly, earning a glare from the librarian. "And I really want to go skydiving and take some of those really cool pictures people have."
