Riley woke up and got ready. She threw on a pair of dark blue denim jeans with a white tank top and a black blazer with a pair of black heels. She wanted to look more business casual. She threw her hair up in a sleek ponytail and applied minimal makeup. She looked in the mirror. This was it. This was her first assignment. She felt she looked the part. Hopefully, she wouldn't fall too behind in her end of year assignments. However, she was sure she could work online from the other pack. Riley then grabbed her bags and headed to the pack house.

Mike called after her as she left to meet with her boss. She walked into her foreman's office, expecting another speech on how the owners needed them to up production-blah blah, blah. In other words, the usual spiel he gave after every quarterly accounting. But it seemed complacency was to be her enemy today because she walked in and froze at the sudden, unmistakable scent of wolf.

She turned leftwards and fixed her gaze on Aubrey’s face. “Yeah…,” Aubrey said. “I didn’t hear any news, mum. Besides, I have been slugging on my bed since,” Sadie said. “News?” Ethan said and sat on one of the couches. “Well, some armed men attacked Benny’s Insurance Company…,” Aubrey said and was interrupted by Ethan. “The same BIC we know?” Ethan said. “Yes. It was nothing to write home about,” Aubrey said grimly.

Annie asked, changing the subject. Leo tilted his head, "I haven't decided yet but anything to do with science. I'm thinking biochemist, maybe." Annie smiled softly, "Should have guessed it. What about football?" Leo blew air out into his cheeks, "I might continue playing in University but not what I want to do full-time. Don't get me wrong, I love it all but it's more of a hobby." Annie nodded in understanding. "I get that." "What about you? Do you know what you want to do?"

She looked at it before passing it to Sage. The waiter returned with our drinks, and everyone placed their orders. The women broke off into their own conversation about the topic that seemed to be forever on their minds lately: kids. At the same time, Mason and I talked about the finishing plans for the pack houses we were having built. Rian sat quietly and gazed off into space.

"Yeah. Kaiden is in charge of our legal businesses. Brad and Jeong helps him with that, whereas my brother controls our every illegal business. Oliver and Ian helps my brother. Caleb, Cole and Shino belongs to the training team. And you already know about Landon and my uncle. They help us a lot actually." Neal looked out and tried to remember each name looking at respective persons. "What about you? You are in the circle too?" He asked turning towards Derrick. The blonde shook his head. There were many windows here and there in every storey. Walking inside the building, I noticed that the interior looked much better than the exterior; the interior had a much classier look with paintings and pictures hung almost everywhere. A sofa set with a big T.V was kept on the left side. I didn't think anyone used the T.V often as everyone had their phones 24/7 with them. The staircase was in the opposite direction to us, on the left side.

She questioned “ then one of the rooms will get changed” “ Look who's got it all figured out.” she smiles starting the engine and driving away We drove into town where Luca built that mall! It’s so beautiful and huge, I’m glad he did jobs for our pack that was becoming slim due to it constantly growing,so building a mall gives more jobs to adults and teenagers. Pulling into the parking lot, I squeeze my legs together knowing I’ve got to pee so bad! “ We will find a bathroom before we start any shopping, dear.” she mumbles

" Oh nothing " Angus sipped from the glass of wine in his hand " she's not human ".

Boris pointed out. Dad nodded and called someone on speaker. "Hey, boss" our tracker answered. "You still following her?" he demanded. "Yeah. She's just pulling into the grocery now" he replied. "Send me the address" Dad commanded and hung up. "Lets go get our mates, boy" Dad said as we all stood up.
