I fell on top of Abeloth with a thud as the jet lost altitude and I never looked back once. “Fly like you’ve never flown before Abeloth,” I yelled down at him. “What do you think I’m doing?” he roared back at me as I clung for dear life as Abeloth increased his speed. I was praying to whoever would listen to keep them safe. I had no idea what was going on but if Kaida was afraid then I was afraid. Kaida was a fierce dragoness, one that wouldn’t let anyone hurt Wynter or Echo, they were both a part of her.

He moved it from one side to the other, making sounds that seemed to be moans. Slowly he climbed higher and higher flapping his wings. Taryn watched, on the ground, the dragon covered in blood-red scales with gold hues, on her head the black horns, scarlet and golden wings flapping furiously as the dragon returned to the sky, moving away from them.

As her dragon glided along warm currents, tracking Ragnar's mate, she looked up from the valleys below and beheld a breathtaking sight. He immediately shifted to his dragon, and she gasped, “My mate is hot as Hades! Hello, mate. What is your name?” His dragon answered, “My name is Drakon, and my mate is the most beautiful dragon in the world. I am the luckiest dragon alive.” Selene smiled, “it’s nice to see that everyone is doing fine, but Drakon, you will need to teach her to fly soon. Things are going to start happening soon, and she will need to know that she can fly, if she needs to.” Drakon nodded, “I will teach her to fly later today or tomorrow.” Selene nodded and disappeared. Everyone approached us and my brothers started asking if they can have a ride. I just closed my eyes in disbelief and made a chuckling sound.
