I yelled out only to stop when Gamma Flinn suddenly paused out of nowhere. The other two noticed and stopped immediately , turning towards him. I moved closer , unable to hear what they were saying. They raised their heads up and our gazes interlocked. Suddenly, Gamma Flinn looked around, his eyes shut with his nose pushed up in the air, twitching every single time he inhaled. "What is wrong with him?" Lyn asked, inching closer to me. Then his eyes snapped open and locked onto Lyn next to me. "Flinn no!" Kairen yelled, lunging for him, but the Gamma already leaped at us, shifting mid air.

He never realized how good it was to hold her in his arms. "Fuck!" Flynn poured the cognac into his empty glass. Maybe if he drunk enough, the alcohol would wash all of these away. * * *
