Flynn was just about completing his trip back to heaven when he heard something thud on the floor and his eyes flew wide open. “Even in heaven, even in my death, I can’t be left alone. Story of my life.” Said Flynn out loud with a heavy sigh. With his eyes cracked wide open, he struggled to sit up and lifted his head up. In front of him was a shirtless dude covered in what looked like tribal tattoos that ran from his neck all around his body to his lower region. Flynn blinked twice, trying to clear the glazed over look in his eyes and wondering why the tattoo was so long and life like.

I’m practically maxed out! “Okay, since I’ve packed away most of my clothes already, I’m going like this!” I said motioning to the jeans, sleeveless turtleneck top and thong sandals that I was wearing. I will make no effort to look glamorous to impress Ryder. The Ryder I know likes me the best when I’m wearing one of his oversized shirts. He grinned at me. “Do you always look gorgeous in anything you wear?” I raised a brow at him. Is he… flirting with me?

His boss is really a total package, so Rylan doesn't wonder why the girls here almost faint just by Dylan's gazed. Rylan didn't know if he would stay by his side because he looked like nothing. Unlike Dylan's who was only wearing a piece of clothing, Rylan was wearing a long fabric like a skirt and was dressed in a skirt that was also embroidered. He knew it was a woman's outfit because most of the female tourists he saw were dressed like this. We headed straight for the path just as a group of mounted, fairy warriors came surging through the castle gates. We reached the crossroads, and Tiernan motioned for us to stop. It only took a few minutes for the group of fairy riders to reach us. They were wearing hardened leather armor stained dark purple with black clothing beneath it but no helmets. Their otherworldly beauty was on full display and their long hair streamed out behind them like colorful banners. White, yellow, crimson, green, and even blue; the colors of both hair and skin were as varied as any painter's palette.

I hope things are going well just like his business. Flynn on the other hand was wearing a white tuxedo with a tieless light blue polo for the inner, white slacks, and white derby shoes. His long black hair now turned into a slicked backside part cut which still suits him. His golden watch also put up a plus for him. "As for me, I came to see your son. Which got me disappointed because you didn't appoint me as your Family Doctor. Am I not your friend?" Flynn explained with a flustered face.

When they entered their room, clothes were lying out for Zoe and Ryder to wear for dinner. Ryder had a black suit with a crest. It was the crest of the Lighting Guardians. He ran his fingers over it in disbelief. Just seeing that symbol made him feel closer to his parents. Zoe's dress was a shimmering royal blue. It was floor-length, with a slit up to her thigh on one side. The dress was off the shoulder with long sleeves. Leah helped her get dressed and did her hair and makeup. When the couple looked in the mirror, they barely recognized themselves. Neither had ever worn clothes like those before.

Even from a distance, its movement looked impressive. The rider was hard to see properly because he was glinting so much. The late afternoon sun was sinking behind us, and its light reflected off what I assumed was armour. We continued walking towards them, various scenarios playing in my mind. We just had to exchange pleasantries, keep it short, then move on. No doubt it wouldn’t be that easy — it never was in this place. It turned out the rider wasn’t in full armour. He was wearing a very cool looking leather get up with metal bands on the shoulders and arms. He had curly blond hair and a huge smile on his face.

Flynn chuckled loudly, “Not like I love them though, it just seems good on your―” “Shut up, Flynn,” I intercepted calmly, if he had nothing new to say then it was just best he maintained the blessed silence in the room. Flynn groaned and I heard him walk up to the window as I pulled out a white tunic and wore it with a pair of ordinary dark breeches.

“You taped those in, right? Because if you so much as breathe too hard...” “They’re not going anywhere,” I purred, spinning once. The gown flared behind me like a dragon’s tail. My mates were dressed like the fucking cover of a fantasy prince calendar. Black tailored tuxes, deep jewel toned accents, Auren had golden thread embroidery on his cuffs, Kael had a dark emerald cravat, Riven wore an open black silk shirt under his blazer because of course he did, and Draken? Black on black with ruby lapel pins to match me. Sin incarnate.

The air was hot. Bikes zoomed past us. The riders were easy to find; they all wore some variations of the same outfit: leather jacket over black t-shirts, boots, gold chains, helmets. The Outlaws and Ryders circled each other predatorily. In some corner, a fight broke out between an Outlaw and a Ryder. I could hear the punches being thrown. It felt like I’d been drenched into a world of danger. I was in shock. I had never seen such display of male bravado before.
