Lena's POV. “Hello, ma'am,” the doctor waved his left hand, and felt my pulse with his right hand. “How many fingers am I holding up?” “Can I get a name? Can you speak?” He continued, not even giving me a chance to think or respond. He suddenly stopped and pointed a little fluorescent light in my eyes. I squinted and groaned inaudibly from lying stiff for far too long. “Four, My name is Lena, and I think I can… talk,” I replied in a second, gulping as the man behind him moved closer and fixed his gaze on me.

For twenty years, nobody had ever seen through their game before. Yet, this rookie nurse did in less than fifteen minutes. “That’s impossible,” Chris whispered, stripping away the fake Charles act as he stared at her like she just grew two heads. Spirit slid off her chair, grabbing her phone from the dining table. She looked down at the three stunned brothers, her eyes flashing proudly like a genius. “I’m your nurse, boys,” Spirit grinned, giving them a triumphant wink as she turned toward the door.

As with most of the cheerleading squad, she had long legs. Hers were, however, nothing to Janine’s. Janine was the tallest girl in the squad at almost six feet, and her figure matched her stature. The smell alone made my stomach grumble. I wasted no time diving into the food. In no time I was filled. I didn’t even manage to make a dent in the food spread before me. I walked back to my room. Hannah was nowhere in sight. I picked up my phone from my bed. I had a total of nine missed calls — five from Jayden and four from Elliana. They had definitely seen or heard about the picture.
